It was my final year of school at Hogwarts. Technically it wasn't because I haven't stepped foot on the school grounds yet. I am currently on a mission to find the Horcruxes with the Golden Trio. I wasn't meant to join in on their adventure, but at the wedding, I apparated just a street away from the trio, and so I caught up with them to help them.
I have been friends with the trio ever since the first year, where I quickly made friends with Hermoine and Harry as we were walking up to the school. They soon introduced me to Ron, and as the year went by, I slowly became close to Ron. We were always there for each other, whenever one got hurt the other would always be around to help. We comforted each other through hard times, and I could never imagine a life without Ron. Ever since saving Buckbeak and Harry's godfather, Sirius Black, I've been starting to see Ron in a different way.
When they started Dumbledore's army I was the first to sign up. My name was placed write on top, then followed by Fred's, George's, and everyone else's. I spent most of the training with Ron, just as an excuse to get closer to him. His kindness and support to me made my feelings for him grow even stronger.
I never told anyone about these feelings until last year. It was too hard to keep in. I first told Hermoine, and she was happy for me. She had told me that I and Ron would be the cutest together, apart from her and Dean Thomas of course. Soon Harry found out about it too, and he told me that it was 'pretty obvious'. I made them promise not to tell anyone else because I was scared of ruining the close friendship that I and Ron had. Ron probably would never like me back, but even with this thought I never stopped liking him.

We were now searching for the rest of the Horcruxes and also trying to destroy one as well. We were taking turns in wearing the locket, I've already worn it twice and it truly wasn't any good. It filled my mind with dark thoughts, and I don't want that to happen to my friends. Today Ron was the one wearing it, and he wasn't doing too well.
'And you!' Ron exclaimed pointing his finger at me aggressively. I stepped backwards as he moved closer too me. Soon my back hit the poles holding the tent up, and he was super close to me. If it wasn't for the current situation, I would be melting on my knees.
'You weren't even supposed to be here, y/n l/n. I, Harry and Hermoine was perfectly fine together! Jesus y/n, how stupid are you? You would've been well fine on your own, and with that pretty little face of yours, you would've gotten anything you wanted. Why bother us then, huh? If you weren't here we would've found a lot more Horcruxes by now!'
Harry managed to drag Ron away, keeping him from saying anything else. A few tears have slipped out of my eyes, and I quickly wiped them off with the sleeves of my shirt. It's been like this so far. Every day someone breaks into an argument because of the fact that they are wearing the locket Horcrux.
Hermoine approaches me and puts a hand on my shoulder. 'Are you okay y/n? That was very harsh for him... I'll make you some tea so you can feel better.' She smiles and holds her arms out, awaiting a hug. I gladly accept it and hug her, comforting me. Suddenly, a loud noise came from Harry and Ron so we rushed over.
Ron had thrown the locket on the ground and was arguing with Harry. He then grabbed his things and left without saying another word. Harry picked up the locket and I dropped to the ground, crying.

I was deeply upset about the words that Ron had said to me. Hermoine has been comforting me ever since the incident, and Harry had been having his own time, trying to study the Horcruxes.
