The Time Sail

Time Tumbler

Victor found himself on his four-poster bed, gasping for air. Canon Balls destroyed the ship around him. He was back in time...again. "I need to take them with me...but how?" If somehow by magic, he found the Ecuadorian Jewel and his ring in his pocket. And what was more, his pebble and telescope were clenched in his hand. "Vincent!" He yelled and staggered up towards the door, throwing it open and yelling at the top of his lungs. "Crew! Get here right now." Five men and a women came marching towards him in surprise. 

"Sir...you look awful." Spoke Katia. 

"I've seen your deaths. I'm Victor from the future. I presume this present Victor has been cancelled out."

"WHAT?!" Barked Longhurst. "Impossible. Time is a mysterious thing. No human can mess with it."
"I speak only true facts, Longhurst. I promise."
"We aren't coming. How do we know you're telling the truth?
"I promise on my life! You will perish if you do not come with me!"

"I think we should go." Spoke Katia worryingly. 

"Agreed. The boat is sinking." They looked to the orange sky that was lit in flames of red fury. "Our boat is on fire. Take us." Said Vincent. 

Victor took a deep breath. He pulled the pebble from his hand and allowed it tom transform into a clock. Everyone gazed in dumbfounded astonishment. "H-how?"

"That doesn't matter. Hold on." The clock began to vibrate and shrink into the stone. The pebble suddenly glowed so brightly everyone winced. "Prepare. And hold onto me." Thundered Victor over the suddenly immense noise that took over their ears. The crew nodded and held their eyes shut, waiting. 

It happened suddenly. Almost as if it were a dream. Victor gazed around in the brief seconds he had. It was a blinding light. Bright white. Then suddenly they were on Puerto's ship as if time had collapsed in on itself. Puerto blinked, trying not to fall in utter disbelief. The crew groaned as Victor stood up. He was getting used to this now. "Give up Puerto."

"Never. I shall kill you all. Remediumitan!" He screeched and began to fight them...
