" Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, for grownups and kids alike, where fantasy and fun comes to life."

Annabelle scoffed, sliding her fingers over the scratchy touch-screen of the tablet, where she watched the cameras planted all over the pizzeria.

The lying catchphrase rang in her ears, just as it had been for the past few days, and it the only thing Annabelle was hearing, as the children's pizzeria was completely silent, except for the humming sound of the generator in the corner of the office.

"Where fantasy and fun come to life.."

Fat chance, Annabelle thought. This was a place of the damned.

Annabelle glanced at the clock at the top of her screen.

4:57.

She sighed, leaning back in her chair.

Why did she take this job again?
Money, Annabelle thought, biting her lip. Just money, for Mom.

She checked the cameras again.

The bunny was gone.

And so was the chicken.

Heart speeding up, Annabelle frantically checked the cameras. It was frightening how something horrible could happen in a short period of time.

The bunny was in the janitor's closet, looking past the camera, at the door.

The brightly colored chicken stood almost outside her door.

Annabelle smacked the door button as quickly as she could as the chicken neared the entrance. The yellow animatronic stayed there, watching Annabelle quietly.

Annabelle tried to ignore the pressing feeling of fear traveling up her spine.

She had other things to worry about.

The bunny was standing in the east hallway.

Hoping he wouldn't get closer, Annabelle glanced toward the west door. The creepy chicken was gone. Annabelle sighed heavily, opening the door again so she would not waste power. It was at 42%, and it was almost 5:30.
This was a terrible idea, Annabelle declared. A very bad career choice.

Annabelle then gasped, pressing the button on the tablet to show her the purple, "pirate" cove set.

She had forgotten to check on the fox.

The curtains were wide open, a sign sitting in front of the black emptiness inside the cove. The words, "It's me", were scrawled on it.

All of a sudden, Annabelle heard a new noise. Heavy, quick footsteps sounded down the hall.

Annabelle slapped the door button, shivering with fear.

The door didn't shut.

Whimpering, she hit the button faster, repeatedly with her hand.

The door wouldn't budge.

Annabelle leaned back in her chair, reduced to doing nothing more but slamming her foot on the button, hard.

Once.

Twice.

Finally, the door slid shut.

The fox pounded his fists on the door as Annabelle sat in her chair, breathing heavily.

That was close. Too close.

5:53 A.M.

The lights of her office dimmed as the power drained quicker than ever, Annabelle was flashing the door lights and skimming through all of the cameras practically every second.

6 more minutes, she thought, heart beating erratically.
And two more nights. Just two more.

Annabelle pushed on until 5:56. The power percentage was at 2%.

Then she heard something. Quiet, slow and shaky laughter was heard, causing Annabelle to almost jump out of her seat. She hadn't heard anything like that her past two nights, not even from the bear that stood stone-still on the show stage.

The minute seemed like an eternity as Annabelle stared at the west door with wide eyes. She was positive that was where the sound was coming from. The bunny was at the door, just standing there, watching her.

The lights shut off. The minutes did not go by fast enough.

For Annabelle, it was too late.

The office was dark. Annabelle was frozen in fear in her seat.

"Shit, shit, shit!" , she mumbled to herself.
She did not move at all as the bastard bear appeared at the left door, demonic face glowing, the pizzeria's, his pizzeria's, theme song playing quietly. The purple bunny stood behind him, seemingly looking small and sad as he watched Annabelle intently.

Bonnie almost enjoyed the way the girl looked, driven into her chair, cowering in fear as her long, dark hair fell in front of her mysterious dark eyes. He liked seeing the raw fear on the guard's faces. It usually made him happy, but now, it was sad.

The girl was definitely going to die, and he could do nothing but watch. Unless 6:00 came before Freddy could get to her.

Too late.

Freddy had already pounced on the girl, who started screaming in response to the tackle. He then grabbed her from her hair and pulled her out the left door, past Bonnie, which silently stared at the girl, screaming, crying, and pulling on the colourful carpet of the pizzeria. For a moment, the girl and Bonnie met each other's eyes.

In Annabelle's eyes, Bonnie could see fear, sadness, despair, and anger.

In Bonnie's glassy eyes, Annabelle could see cowardness, sadness, anger, and a stab of..fear.

In that millisecond, Bonnie wished longingly that he could save the girl, protect her from a terrible death. He had already started down the hallway, after Freddy and the girl. But then he realized.

Bonnie stopped right in his tracks sadly.
You can't.
