Prologue

Kiyotaka POV

"Senpai~."

When I heard that, I instantly recognized the voice and felt that tragedy has once again appeared. It was an underclassman named Amasawa Ichika. I was on my way back to the classroom after talking with Director Tsukishiro and then Chabashira-sensei. At this rate, I will die from the things I never told my classmates. What terrible luck.

"Shouldn't you be grateful for my help senpai? Sudo-senpai seems to have passed after all."

"Again, I'm thankful for that. But why did you approach me suddenly?"

"Hmm? Oh, I just had a hunch something interesting
might happen so I decided to follow you around."

"Hunch huh?"

This is certainly suspicious. Would the white room student even be this bold? She seems to oddly have a too strong personality if she were the white room student.

"Anyways, are you just going to follow me around?"

"Hmm? I guess so. But isn't this a wonderful opportunity to bond with your cute kouhai~?"

This is troublesome a situation as is. Getting seen by classmates like this would just escalate it further.

"Sorry, but I am going to talk about personal class matters. It would be troubling to involve you in this."

"Everything's fine senpai. I'll just accompany you there then leave immediately."

No, that would be problematic enough, but it seems she won't give up on whatever her objective is.

I could already see the classroom. I was curious what the classroom's state was when I left the room. As I entered, a horde of students gathered around me.

Kiyotaka: "I'm sorry I couldn't talk to you when you called out earlier."

Keisei: "Wait, who is that girl, Kiyotaka?"

Sudou: "Oi Ayanokouji, what's my partner for the exam here?"

Keisei: "Sudou's partner?... Then what is she doing with you Kiyotaka?

Confusion swept the group. I could feel their glares at me.

Kiyotaka: "We just coincidentally met. Anyways, Sudou you still owe me for this."

Sudou: "Right. I'll pay you back when I can."

Ike: "Wait, you owe him? For what?"

Sudou: "Oh, it was a deal for her to become my partner."

Miyamoto: "Wait, deal?..."

Sudou: "We can talk about it later."

Keisei: "Then what is she doing here?"

Amasawa: "Ah, let me introduce myself. My name is Amasawa Ichika from Class 1-A. Looks like I' 've overstayed my welcome. See you later senpai~."

Well, it seems that with her around, she managed to at least have lightened the intense atmosphere between Keisei and me. Having a lighthearted conversation between me, her, and Sudou would subconsciously change Keisei's attitude even if just a little.

Keisei: "Now, Kiyotaka..."

I tried to explain everything but Horikita and the others helped calm everyone down. She explicitly told them that she planned to hide my true abilities since the first year. After that, the Ayanokouji group met and had an awkward reconciliation.

We were headed and met up with Akito after he was finished with his club activities.

Haruka: "You know Kiyopon, I'm curious about that underclassman that showed up earlier."

Akito: "Yeah, what was that about?"

It seems that Amasawa's appearance may have caused more harm than good. If she hadn't appeared the situation would have more or less be the same. I sighed without realizing. That girl...I hope she won't destroy what would be left of my peaceful life.
