I look at the family portrait. Well it's actually family and friends. A rather large portrait of us with the Potters, the Weasleys, the Longbottoms, the Zabinis and the Notts. Everyone of us had started their own families. And 40 years has passed since then. Our childrens have moved out and made their own families. My son Scorpius and daughter Ella have given us grand childrens now. It's funny that the Weasleys and Potters became my in-laws. My father didn't survive that long to witness it. My mother was little surprised when Scorpius had announced his engagement to Rose Weasley. But by the time Ella broke the news of marrying Albus Potter she had passed.
I heard giggles coming from the kitchen. It was Saturday and as usual the whole family had gathered to spend the time together. I walked and saw Rose and Ella helping Luna prepare the food. Little Robin Potter sat on his fathers lap and gave me toothy grin. I smiled back. Scorpius was running after his twins Mia and Sia. They were ganging up on the eldest of Ella, Aura Potter. I chuckled. How had my family changed so much. Harry, Ron, Blaise and Theo will be arriving soon with their families. Years ago I would have laughed at the thought but now I am glad
I sat down next to my son-in-law and took a giggling Robin into my lap. This is it. This is the miracle dream that happened to me. And I am living it.
