Married to my Teacher

Chapter 6

Beth's P.O.V 

Me and my Kevin went to my daughters house because she couldn't make it into town for my birthday. We got to the house and Anthony came and answered the door, we both got a hug from him and he also lead us into the living room where Abbey and Gabby were. 

When Abbey saw us both she came straight up to me and said "Happy Birthday Mam" while cuddling me and i replied with "thank you sweetie" then she went up and cuddled her father. Me and  Kevin sat down and started talking to Gabby while Abbey went into the kitchen to make us some tea. 

Abbey and Anthony came back into the living room with a big bunch of flowers and a little wrapped up present and our cups of tea that Anthony was holding. Abbey started to speak "Here you go mam" I could here the excitement in her voice but also nerves, I smiled at her while I smelled my flowers and then I opened the little present. 

The little present was a photo frame with a black and white photo in it, My eyes went wide with shock and my mouth dropped I showed Kevin , Anthony and Gabby and all they mouths dropped also when they all realised what it was. "I'm going to be a grandmother ? " I questioned "I'm going to be a Grandad ?" Kevin questioned and I also heard Anthony question "I'm going to be a dad ?" which I found strange. Shouldn't Anthony already know but then I thought Abbey might have wanted to tell us all together since Anthony is always in meetings and working late with his job. 

"Surprise and yes to all them questions" Abbey said with a smile on her face, I jumped up off the seat that I was sitting on and cuddled my son in law and my daughter  "I can't believe it congrats".

Anthony's P.O.V

I'm going to be a dad I can't believe it how could she keep this from me for all this time. When did she go for the first scan who went with her?, I have so many questions to ask her but I'm in so  much shock right now to even ask her but i'm also happy to finally know. 

Abbey's P.O.V 

Well the cat is out the bag now I'm so happy i have told them all and they are all happy about it, well i think there all happy. I looked over to Anthony and I saw him with his thinking face on which i knew he would have all these questions for me to answer when everyone went home.
