"How was your date.?"
I came to my senses when jade asked me the question about my last night dinner date with Neel. She was wriggling her eye brows.
I frowned and rolles my eyes on her gestures.
"It was ok". I replied
"Only ok"? She asked. She was sounding so sad.
"What Jade it was just ok".
"I want details." She replied.
"There is nothing to tell. It is just"... I was struggling to find words.
"Just"! She lifts her eyebrows.
I closed my eyes and huffed and Said
"He proposed me!"
"What? She screamed and jumped.
She was hugging me and clapping.
"Oh my god. What you said then."
"I said nothing."
Her jaw dropped.
"What?"
"What what. I said I need time?"
"Time?"
"Yes "
"You got to be kidding me?" She was furious.
I said "I need time to think."
"What the f**k". She screamed.
"I cannot accept his proposal all of a sudden ok". I defended my stance.
"Isn't he qualifies as your dream man the other day"? She asked.
"He didn't."
She was irritated.
"Darling you only said you want some one who is handsome educated and wealthy. Neel qualifies in all three. doesn't he?"
I paused and asked "What did you understand when I said wealthy jade?"
"Wealthy means someone who is effluent and have a good bank balance." She replied.
"No For me real Wealth is someone who is Wealthy from heart. Who cares for everyone. Who has a golden heart. Real Wealth lies here".
I gestured my index towards heart.
"And Neel doesn't have"? She enquired.
"I don't think so". Then I told her about the incident that took place on the date. She was surprised.
"I never thought Neel could do such thing" she said.
"Ya even I was surprised. Looks money education comes later Jade. if you don't have compassion for others , you disqualified to be my dream man there only."
"So what you decide?"
"I really don't know Jade? He loves me. I can't love him back overnight, I need time." I saw her thinking something deep.
"Anyways where is bhai"? I tried to deviate topic.
"He has gone out from yesterday evening. He Just messaged me at night if you are back or not."
"Ok. Nothing else he asked". I teased her.
"What else he would ask?"
"Like love messages and kiss emoji". I winked.
She blushed. "Take your time jade. But I assure you Jaideep bhai is the best. He will keep you Happy."
She smiled and said "I know."
"I am so happy for both of you."
I hugged her.
"I don't know if he love me?"
"He loves you. He confessed yesterday infront of me?"
She widened her eyes. "Oh my god. Really?"
"Yes. But don't forgive him easily for his yesterday's behaviour. Ok?"
"Ok". She smiled.
"Now eat your food". She smiled.
