"We are very happy with your work Miss Singh, and now we wish to offer you full time job in our department".
"Thank you ma'am, it's pleasure working here, under supervision and guidance of deemed faculty. I had a good learning experience. I am accepting the letter of appointment and ready to serve as full time Research Associate in forensic & criminology department".
I got up from the chair and shakes hand with professor Cherry Blake.
"Here is the appointment letter Adhya, you can resume your duties after the winter breaks".
"Thank you professor Blake. I take your leave now."
It's been five years I am in Camrin university. I have completed dual degree course in forensic sciences. Due to my excellent academic abilities I was offered a part time Research Assistant position in the department. I worked while studying, isn't that great to kick start your career like this. Today after 2years I am now offered a full time position as Research Associate in the university. My annual pay is hiked.
I want to share this news with my only support back home. That is my Papa. My father. But despite Calling him for more than 10 times, his phone is unreachable. He must be busy As usual. This is not new to me. He is a busy man. We don't talk regularly. But I know he is on some project , busy and alone too. He loves me and I love him. He is protective towards me since my birth. When I came here , I wasn't alone. I was guarded by two of his personal bodyguards.
My bodyguards once told me my father keeps eye on me, they told me he has instructed them to protect me from every bad boy in the university. I never been in relation with any boy in the college. It's not that I wanted to be in a relationship but I don't want People to fear me.
6 months back I fired them and actually fought with my father when they punched one of my class mate who wasn't proposing me actually but rehearsing a drama sequence. I am furious. I asked them to leave my shadow. I can very well take care of myself. My father and i had a long debate over this. I told him this is not acceptable. He knew whatever has happened is wrong. Poor boy was hospitalized for a month . I apologized to him many times. It's embarassing, I know. Since then bodyguards are kicked out. I know my father has his ways to protect me. I know he is keeping an eye on me if not from near but definitely from a suitable distant. But why? I am no queen or a princess.!
"Hello, jade", I called my friend to share my happiness.
"Hey Adhya wassup"! She said
"Guess what jade I am promoted".
"Wow babe you did it, I am so happy for you. So are we going to party today!"
"Yes, but no dance bars or any sort of place."
"Yes Madam, I know you don't drink and party. But comeon it's your day. One day live like a free bird. Your Father is not here."
"Quite jade, my father is no hitler. Besides I am no dancing jack and drinking duck."
"Ya ya, tell me where is the party then."
"We are going to one of the High quality restaurant in squares. Be ready at 7. Tanvi,shrey and cho are coming too. We will come and pick you up."
"All right babe. Be sexy" . I rolled my eyes on her saying.
"ofcourse" I said sarcastically, "see you then".

"Hey Adhya congratulations, hey all"! It's Jade ofcourse. We are here to pick her up for the party that I am throwing in high quality restaurant at squares.
