The demon stood behind the female helpless. Tomioka had no reason to save the demon. After all that he went through. The endless amount of sleep he got. As a Hashira, he should be able to defeat any demon. The demon didn't look like a member of the twelve Kizuki, and it didn't have a number on its eye.
Giyuu was suddenly at ease. He already assumed, that for the demon to be able to turn invisible, it had to be one of the twelve Kizukis. But clearly, he was in the wrong.
Overall, he was happy to see that Nezuko called him an 'older brother figure'. He always saw her as the little sister that he never had.
"So, what am I supposed to help you with?" Giyuu demanded.
"I wanna know if I can keep him at the Water Estate. If that's okay with you." Nezuko wondered.
The water estate was where Giyuu resided. Just like the Butterfly estate, Nezuko was the second master. Just like Kanao.
She trained under Giyuu, after her first training with Sakonji. She was only 16 at the moment and Tanjirou was 19. It was only 4 years since their family's death.
She was well on her way to becoming the next Water Hashira. Nezuko had almost mastered Giyuu's last water technique.
Giyuu went down on one knee and sliced his arm open with his sword
"W-What are you doing, Tomioka san?!" Nezuko had no idea what was about to happen, but she was almost confident that Tomioka wouldn't just kill her own brother.
The water hashira was letting a lot of blood drip from his arm when he noticed that the demon just stood still. Tanjirou wasn't moving. Why? Giyuu assumed that the demon would come straight for him, but the demon just turned its head away.
A smile spread across Giyu's face as he stood up from the position. He turned around and put his sword, back into his case.
"I'm not completely sure, but he can only stay if he won't devour humans. If he dies, then all three of us will have to commit Seppuku. Do you understand? "
"Yes, Master." She replied.
"Now, I have to write a letter to Kiriya. Take him to the backyard at the estate, and do not let anyone see him. Understand?"
"Yes Master." the female bowed and turned towards her brother.
The demon was awfully light but looked strong. She wrapped her arm around the demon and began walking.
The Hashira pushed himself off the earth and into the air. He was also heading back to the Estate, so he needed to clear off the area.
{1 hour Later}
The demon was able to walk by himself by now and was talking to the girl.
"Yea, but where were you all these years Tanjirou?" Nezuko asked.
"I was busy."
"No, that isn't valid. I want a real answer."
"I was looking for a way to turn back to a human."
"You know that it wouldn't work though. You're a demon. You look nothing like a human."
" I know. But I haven't shown you the best part!"
They were already halfway up the mountain, leading to the water Estate.
"Yea? What is it?"
They paused for a second and looked at each other. Slowly, the marks on the boy's face, to the long crimson red nails, all the way to the fangs on his teeth began to shrink. They started looking like normal features of a human.
"Woah. That's amazing. H-How? I thought, that only Kibutsuji was able to do that?" The girl shone.
"I learned from one from my demon friends." the male answered nonchalantly."
"So, you're saying that these demons taught you how to do it?"Nezuko was scared. If they knew how to look like demons, then the entire job would be way harder. Although, if Tanjirou were hanging out with demons, didn't they teach him to devour humans. But why did he refuse?
"Yea, it took a while but I got the hang of it. Cool right?!!" Tanjirou exclaimed.
"Yea, I guess." Nezuko sighed as they continued walking up the mountain.
They had reached the gate, and Tanjirou looked like a normal boy with a ripped shirt.
"Tanjirou. I need you to stay in this form. It's the only that they will accept you.
But they forgot one huge piece. How was the demon walking in broad sunlight?
It was bright and sunny. To the point where you could go blind. But the demon wasn't burning. No one noticed.
