-Quirk Background:
The avatar quirk is special, for it only occurs every 5th generation and is given to any one of the first born in this generation. The first appearance of this quirk dates back to a little after when quirks first started popping up. The quirk didn't come from parent quirks but was something new, it's own manifestation born into the first wielder, Kyo Wan. When he was born he had light blue arrow markings along all of his body. His parents new he was something special.

Kyo Wan, having being the first to experience this quirk, had trouble controlling his own power but even so, he quickly learned how to properly use his quirk.

As he grew into adulthood, he realized that the quirk he wielded didn't have a name. He took his time in deciding a proper name. He wanted the name to be fitting, for he believed that his quirk was truly special. After heavy thought, he decided on the name, Avatar. He chose this name after the Hindu meaning of 'a deity or released soul in bodily form on earth'.

A few years after this revelation he became: The elemental hero: The Avatar. He rose to fame very quickly because of his bright, enthusiastic personality and how he demonstrated such strength when protecting the citizens and the ones he loved.

He gave his all everyday protecting the people, doing the things that made him happy. Even with this, he yearned for a different type of happiness, a family. And that's exactly what he did😝

He married a beautiful maiden and had two lovely children. Though, there was a problem... neither of his children bore his quirk so he looked on hopeful for the next generation...they didn't hold his quirk either. He soon grew anxious, fearful that his quirk would die out. He didn't want this to be the end of such a powerful and unique quirk...

In this anxious state, his wife passed due to old age, which threw him in a state of grief. One day, as he was looking in the mirror, reminiscing, he noticed how considerably young he looked for his age. He was old, but looked as if he were only middle aged. He grew many theories about the 'why' but could never figure it out..

*Timeskip cuz this is getting outta hand..*

3 generations later and Kyo Wan was still alive. Considerably more worn looking and all the more wiser...he had to bear witness to many deaths and funerals as he outgrew all of his family.

Even so, his 3x great granddaughter was giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, Jiro. He could never miss such a beautiful moment, so when he saw Jiro for the first time, his eyes widened and he burst into tears. She had the same blue arrow like markings on her body. He dropped to his knees in pure bliss, thanking the Gods that the avatar quirk would live on.

As Jiro grew older, Kyo Wan mentored his granddaughter and taught her everything he knew. They shared a close bond with each other because of this. Once Jiro was fully developed and mature and wielded the quirk in her full capability, Kyo Wan felt that it was finally his time to go. He finally knew why he needed to stay that long and was relieved when he was able to finally complete his task.

This phenomenon went on and continued, the cycle never breaking until now... The family was absolutely devastated as none of the first born children of the 4th generation held the avatar quirk. They truly believed that the quirk was gone forever....until you were born.
