Amelia is a strange girl. She has always been a little odd. She also has always been one of the sweetest and most beautiful girls you would ever meet. She always made sure the people around her were happy. It always seemed that the boys were a little bit more excited around Amelia however. She had been told by her mother that she was part veela. Her mother had taught Amelia protective hexes when she was eleven so Amelia could defend herself if need be from the boys at school. What is she doing right now? She's currently sitting on her bed reading about the creatures of the wizarding world. The many species that existed inside the wizarding world enthralled Amelia and had captured her attention from a very young age. Her time was typically spent reading about the creatures such as the Erkling an elf like creature that will typically lure young children by music and then eat them Amelia traced her hand on the picture of the Erkling its deceptive smile and then a Erkling hissing noise from the book filled Amelia's ears causing a shiver to go down her spine. She had remembered the stories her father would tell her about the Erkling when she was younger. 

She'd sit on his lap and he'd tell her the story of how he survived an attack as a child by the pure luck of his father finding him at the right time. He would always warn Amelia to never go out at night without himself or Darlene. She had remembered being absolutely terrified of the Erkling when she was a child as she began to grow and mature. She realized the Erkling was a metaphor her father had used to protect her from the darker spirited wizards who were hunting the family.

Her parents were both wizards and had always known that Amelia was gonna be a wizard. She had always had little magical signs here and there. One of the earliest signs of magic was when she had made a four leaf clover turn into a large sunflower the size of her house. Her parents whose names were Darlene and Bradley laughed and smiled as they posed for a picture in front of the large sunflower. This picture now sits on Amelia's nightstand. She glanced over and smiled at the photo of her younger self being embraced by her parents in front of the sunflower. She can see her mothers long brown hair blowing into her eyes as she smiles. Her father holds onto her tightly like he's scared she'll fly away. Her mother collected the seeds from the sunflower which Amelia kept in her dresser in the top drawer. Her parents had bought a house in the middle of nowhere on the edge of the beach. Amelia knew the reason was to protect her from the dark wizards that had targets on her parents backs.

Amelia had completely fallen in love with the water and swam in it almost everyday rain or shine. She had caught many different fish and made sure to study each one she found. She loved animals that's for sure and had hopes of one day being a Breeder. A breeder is where you breed together animals and hope on making a new species and recover species from extinction. She continued to study the magical creatures that she came in contact with. She writes small notes into her purple research diary of the creatures she comes in contact with.

She is now going into her sixth year at Hogwarts and couldn't be more excited. Hogwarts was her home away from home. She had gotten placed into the Hufflepuff house after a historic twenty four minute decision from the sorting hat. Amelia was clever and saw the world differently than most, which kept the sorting hat to battle back and forth between the Hufflepuff house and the RavenClaw house. Her laugh and smile as the sorting hat decided between the two houses made the entire hall laugh with her ultimately placing her in Hufflepuff because of her kindness overweighting her intelligence. This however didn't stop her from being one of the top in her class at hogwarts.
