Amelia skipped through the hallway alongside Luna. The coin that Hermione had given them had lit up meaning that there was a the first meeting for Dumbledore's army. Amelia and Luna had been looking forward to the meeting. They had found a place called the room of requirement. It was the perfect place for them to study their spells and Harry had asked Amelia to help people due to her being taught defensive spells in her sixth year by Barty Crouch disguised as mad eye Moody. Harry had also asked Cedric to help out in the meetings as well due to him being more skilled in the defense against the dark arts subject and having experience being in a duel during the twiwizard tournament. Amelia and Cedric had happily agreed they however wouldn't be able to help with the more advance spells such as the patronus lesson.
Amelia and Luna walked into the room of requirement. Cedric was already there talking with Patrick and Paul who Cedric had told about the meetings and they both happily agreed to join as they to were over Umbridge teachings. Luna walked quickly over to talk to Harry. Amelia walked towards the group of boys. "Hello" Amelia said to Patrick and Paul. She had developed more of a relationship with them since she had started dating Cedric. "Hey Amelia!" Paul said and Patrick waved. "What are you guys talking about?" Amelia asked rocking back and forth.
"Just how much Umbridge looks like a toad!" Patrick said and the four of them laughed. "I'd have to agree on that" Amelia said and then Harry spoke. "Line up!" Harry said and the twenty people in the room lined up. Neville stood at the front of the line. He had his wand out and he was gonna try and disarm the test dummy who had a fake wand in its hand. "Expelliarmus" he yelled and then all of a sudden the whole line ducked down as his wand was thrown from his hands and launched in the wall behind them.
"You're just flourishing your wand to much, try it like this, Expelliarmus!" Harry said and the dummy's wand was thrown out of its hand.

"Stunning is one of the most useful spells in your skills, it's sort of a witches and Wizards bread and butter, so Nigel give me your best shot" Harry said and Nigel stood at the other end of the room. He had a nervous look on his face. He quickly flourished his wand and yelled "stupefy" Harry was then sent back and landed with a thud on the ground.
"Good not bad at all Nigel" Harry said sitting up from the ground. Nigel sat up and looked at his wand in disbelief. He didn't think he would be able to use a defensive spell at the beginning of the lessons and he was shocked that he could do one. The whole group watched as Harry stood up again and Nigel stood up as well.
"How about some more volunteers, Cedric, Amelia do you guys wanna try?" Harry asked looking at Cedric and Amelia. The whole group giggled and they both looked at each other. "Let's do it!" Amelia said and walked over to one side. "I'll go easy on you don't worry Millie" Cedric said and Amelia almost laughed. "Thank you Ced" she said and Cedric then walked to the other side of the room and they both got into position. Amelia noticed Fred and George Weasley were making bets on who was gonna win the duel.
"Stupefy" Amelia screamed and Cedric was immediately thrown back landed onto the ground. The girls in the room began to crowd Amelia giggling. Cedric walked over to the Weasley twins and Patrick and Paul. "I didn't want to embarrass her" Cedric tried to play off and the boys gave him knowing nods.
"Working hard is important but there is something more important believing in yourself, think of it this way every great wizard in history started out as nothing more than what we are now, students, if they can do it then why not us?" Harry gave a motivational speech as he walked around the room while everyone is practicing defensive spells.
"Expelliarmus!" Cedric yells and Amelia's wand flips out of her hand and into his own. Cedric has a proud smile on his face and Amelia then comes over and kisses him on softly and takes her wand back.
"So that's it for this lesson, we won't be meeting until after the holidays, so Umm keep up the great work and fantastic job everyone!" Harry said and people filed out of the room and into the halls.
Amelia and Cedric walked side by side and towards their common room. "What are you doing for the holidays?" Amelia asked and handed Cedric a mug of hot chocolate that she had made quickly. "My mom and dad are going to visit my Aunt and uncle in Switzerland so I'm staying here" Cedric said. "You should come home with me!" Amelia said excitedly. "Would your mom and dad be okay with that?" Cedric asked and Amelia almost laughed. "Yes my parents were be perfectly fine with that"
"Your dad seemed a little protective last time I saw him" Cedric says and Amelia laughs out loud this time. "He's a Teddy bear he acts like this tough protective guy but he's not at all from what I observed he seemed to really like you" Amelia said. "Well if your parents will let me come then I'd love to come!" Cedric happily said.
"I'll write to them and let them know that you are coming!" Amelia said sitting up and going and grabbing a parchment and pen.
Dear mom and dad,
I can't wait to see you both for the holidays in a couple days. Things have been good here at Hogwarts. There is this one Professor that isn't very good though she isn't teaching us at all but we have figured out something that works for us. I've been thinking a lot about you recently and I can't wait to see you both again. I was also wondering if maybe Cedric could come home with me? His parents are going to Switzerland to visit his aunt and uncle so he is staying at Hogwarts for the holidays. I love and miss you both so much!

Amelia licked the envelop and tied it to an owls legs. The owl flew off and into the dark night. Amelia then went and sat back down with Cedric. "Hey" Cedric said leaning over the girl. "What?" Amelia asked and Cedric then kissed her. "Nobody goes into the prefects bathroom" Cedric says and Amelia laughs.
The two then carefully get up and walk out of the common room and towards the prefect bathroom.
Hahahahahaha I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! Dumbledore's army is happening and it's cute! I'm defiantly making this book around 30 chapters which is honestly kind of a lot for me to do! It is ranging over four books and 5 movies though. I do have a plan for how I want this book to end. Will a couple people die? Possibly. Is it gonna be very sad, probably not but whatever!
