The 100th hunger games

District 12

My name is Renesme Miller . Days in district 12 are not very easy . I live with my older brother and my dad . I am the girl of the house but i like to be it sometimes . Our house is made out of the rubble that was from the houses that where bombed . We live far away from the justice house and its nice . My mother died from starvation a long time ago i was only 3 so i can not really remember her . My father always says i look like her with my green eyes and red hair . Our mother was from district 5 thats why my hair is unusual. She was quick and very beautiful. My father is a coal miner as well as my brother so im normally left alone . They both have dark brown hair and grey eyes but ive always wanted to look like them . Children my age call me odd and make fun of me . Im a quiet girl in school i dont talk to anyone . Most of my days are spent in the woods . Im not much of a hunter but i like climbing and practicing jumping tree to tree . This is fun and im quite good with plants actually im amazing i have this book from my mother who used to write then down and i read it everynight . My father hunts with a knife and hes skilled and my brother is good with his hands like traps and his strength is uncanny . He is popular and he likes it . Im not close with my brother we just do what we need to do and get on with it . My father likes to sing with me so whenever its sunday we go into the forest and sing . Its the best day of the week . My father is like me he doesn't talk to other families and just goes to work then comes hone . We aren't poor but not rich at the same time . I am lucky that i dont have to get oil and seed in exchange for my name in more times so ive only been entered twice . My brother is 16 who has been entered 4 times . Im not overly fond of animals so im not that bothered when we eat them . I also train with my dad and i can use a knife which im very skilled with and i prefer smaller ones . District 12 hasn't had a victor since the 75th annual . I go to the hub with my dad everyday but we only are there for a couple minutes . I don't really find anyone attractive so my life is simple and i like it like this .

Hi its the author here . This chapter was just giving you a better understanding about the character and how she lives etc . I didn't want to try and squeeze the details in while the actual book so i thought to do a chapter explaining .

I have no rights to say that hunger games is my book this is just a fanfiction about it and did it for fun .
