6 months later...

Eyes were closed shut as the imagines of the boys looked like Hajime and Carlos. The mother denied the nurses to even let her hold them including the baby that reassembles Carlos. Her body leaned backwards, head whipping the other way as they continued to attempt to give them to her.

Then eventually, they stopped. "You're going to regret not ever holding your babies." A nurse spoke out, hearing the soft cries of her boys. Y/n merely shook her head rapidly still staring to the side of her to avoid them. The nurse gazed downwards to one of the babies, which was Hajime's boy. Humming softly to his lime eyes. His face was a mixture between the parents, despite this his attention was in the direction of his neglected mother.

Hajime's kid seemed, as if he was reaching out to the other lady. 'The boy already knows his mother?' The nurse thought, perceiving the cries from the baby. "Miss, please." She pleaded. However, the stubborn lady wouldn't budge to take one glimpse of her children. The nurse gave up on her, and passed them into a trustworthy person.

--

"Miss, I would like to ask a few questions." A man in front of her called out. As her mind was abruptly pulled back into reality. Her attention had now flickered to the eyes of the lad.

She plastered a false smile, since she couldn't smile for the past six months she had been here. Him, showing up wasn't going to make it suddenly bring it back. "I'm already guilty of insanity, so amuse me..." The lady informed him. Leaning her figure over to the table to peer into his eyes. "What type of false hope do you have for me?" She tugged at the corner of her lips.

Y/n had given up on her chances of leaving this shithole. She had been stuck here for half a year, and now the authorities are showing up with another made up story. "Y/n, I know you're innocent." He announced. That whole sentence promptly made her burst into laughter.

Of course, she was innocent, however her ex boyfriend had the whole city wrapped around his little finger. If she were to do something, then he already had everything planned out from murder to sudden disappearance. It was just a matter of time, before he snapped his finger and sentenced her.

"And why would you think that?" Y/n played into the male's idea a little more. Her e/c hues eyes scanned his features. 'He looks familiar? But where has she seen him before?' She pondered. Her eyebrows furrowed downwards towards him.

"For the past two years, I've been in the CSI. I haven't seen a case that was an easy close shut case." He commented before he began his rummage in his black suitcase on the side of him. He placed some pictures on the table. Spreading them out, nearly decorating the whole surface.

The woman's face instinctively scurried into a disgusted, sorrowful expression. The grief had rushed back to her, which she covered her mouth as her eyes couldn't get enough of the photos.

"I would've warned you, but these pictures." He paused for a moment to tap on two photos of Alice's head front and back which appeared to have a small hole in it. Seeming to look like it was a bullet wound. The cause of her death was the possibility of the gun. However, the crazy thing about the wound was that she never had to use a gun... not recently though.

"The first picture is her skull with the bullet exiting her body, leaving a clean hole going through it. Meaning the killer was pointing the gun closely on her." The CSI said before he took out another photo.
