"What happened?" I whispered to her, rubbing her back for r comfort. I've never seen Zoe so devastated, what had happened to her that made her cry?
" He..he.."she said through sobs, as her body shook.
"Tell me what happened?" I said calmly, trying to comfort her. She looked at me and with blurred eyes she took her phone out. What was she about to show me?
Then I saw, it was Andrew and some other girl being intimate. Wasn't Andrew and Zoe dating ? Wait, did Andrew cheat on her? That made my blood boil, maybe Andrew and my fist would be well acquainted when I see him next time, which will be soon. As soon as I leave here to be exact.
"Did he cheat on you Zoe, did Andrew cheat on you?" I said angry, maybe I can find his whereabouts and introduce him to my fist.
I hadn't realized that Zoe was frightened, why would she be frightened, what had he done to her?
"He left, whe-when I told him, tha-that I knew he was cheating on me. I don't know what to do Scar, I don't know if I should go after him." she told me in one go, what is she saying? He left, to where?
"Let's go, you're coming home with me." I said as I noticed many people watching us with confusion, maybe it wasn't the best idea to come to the mall. She looked relieved when I said that, we got in the car and drove, not a single words had come from Zoe during the drive to my house.
I don't know why but I felt as though Zoe was hiding something else from me, what had she meant when she said that she would go after him ? Couldn't she have broken up with him and enjoyed life to it's fullest ?
When the car stopped, Zoe was the first to go out of the car and towards the house. I mean thats fine with me, but I have noticed that her behavior change, it was only a week since I have seen but I felt like it has been years. I walked in after her, and saw that she went upstairs to my room. Ryan was sitting on the coach, not noticing a crying girl ran upstairs. Maybe if I slapped him a little, he might know what goes around him.
I went up to my room and saw Zoe staring at a wall, her mind else where.
"Zoe" I said quietly, trying not to upset.
She looked up at me, her eyes blurred, what she said next, shocked me.
"I'm pregnant." she said, looking down.
I froze not knowing what to do, how can she be pregnant, especially with Andrew's child. But Zoe is not ready for this, she just moved here and now she has a job, what will happen now? She noticed my reaction and her lips quivered, I knew then that I was not a good friend. I ran to her and hugged her, she tightened her arms around me as she cried.
"What gonna happen now?" Zoe whispered, so faintly that I barely had heard her. What gonna happen was that I needed to find this Andrew guy and then have a talk with him on why he cheated on his pregnant girlfriend, that was what's gonna happen next.
"Where is Andrew, Zoe?" I asked.
"His brother owns a company in New York, maybe that's where he went." she said, her emotions scattered.
"Well I'll talk to him then, maybe he would want to be part of the child's life, are you keeping the child Zoe." I asked, worried about her answer.
"Yes, it's part of me, but how will you go to New York. I mean will Andrew come with you?" she asked her eyes filled with hope, maybe she does love him.
"Yeah, why not? Don't worry about anything, in the mean time stay here." I said, determined to bring Andrew to Italy.
"You hungry?" I asked her, she nod and I knew how exhausted she was. We both went downstairs and saw Liam and Ryan on the coach. Liam was the first to stare and he looked at Zoe and then me. I haven't had the time to apologise to him after our argument earlier, I knew he meant well.
"Well, how you doing Zoe?" Ryan said, looking towards Zoe.
"She is fine, we came here to get some food and Zoe will stay here for a while, behave and try to stay out of trouble." I said, answering for Zoe, she looked relieved when I had answered.
"Ok then, welcome Zoe. Oh, Damian came over, he was looking for you." Ryan said, smiling sheepishly. Why would Damian come to my house to look for me? I felt someone staring at and was met with Liam's brown eyes.
I looked at him, daring him to start, he looked away when he noticed my glare. We grabbed some food from the kitchen,then head straight to my room and started to catch up on what was going on with our lives. When I felt Zoe doze off, I sat up and went to get my phone, maybe it's time to make a call.
"Hello Damian, your offer still available?" I asked with a smile, New York here I come.
