Squad 13XB18 was known to be loud. And strange. And simple unordinary. I would be surprised if they didn't have a nickname. All I can say is that they all have come far.

Hena was longer that timid and scared person we picked up. Great medic, they say. Moji had gain lots of experience. And weight. Of course, he would never past 5'2" of height, but at least he wasn't so scrawny anymore. Ty seemed more comical. Gentler. I don't know him too well, but I sensed change in him. Growth. Wad'e, shockingly, seemed to mature in the last three months. He was finally acting a bit like a thirty-year-old should. Sherehsoy didn't have that navie look anymore. She seemed like a soldier. Bal was the same ol' Bal, but the tension between him and Shereshoy was gone. To be honest, Bal always had this easy-going, yet serious and kind attitude that was always envied in our mentally messed up family.

I gaze at them all, just realizing how much they all meant to me. And Tay. She was the same shabla person. I smile at her and she returns it.

I sigh. "Okay, thank you guys for being here." There are other people, the vast majority, in fact, outside of 13XB18.

"Sure," a man I didn't know says. "Who can resist breaking the rules?" Laughter ripples through the people, myself included.

"Yeah..." I clear my throat. "Nobody outside of here should know about this."I clear my throat again.

"Cough drops, sir?" The same man ask, I can't help smiling.

"That would be nice." I look around the room, before continuing. "Shall I debrief you?" My thoughts wander during their murmurs of agreement. I could easily be stripped of rank. Not to mention kicked out. Yes, it was a risk. But wasn't that life was for? Risk? To do what you knew was right even when others didn't seem to see it.

I turn on a holomap-courtesy of Jesse, who well shab knew what was going on, but neither participated not told anyone-and look at the troops. My troops. My Rebel Commandos.

I clear my throat (and get a few goofy looks) and say, "Ladies...Gentlemen, this is on a need-to-know basis outside of this meeting. Anyone wanting to leave should do so now, or never." It reminded me of when we first joined when Bal first introduced us to Organa.

Wad'e gives me one of his infamous grins. "Observe the lack of movement, commander," he says, getting several laughs.  Seems like I wasn't the only one my talk reminded of it.

"Shall we continue?" Tay asks in a no-nonsense voice. No one could figure out our relationship.  It wasn't that I was ashamed of it, but it was unbecoming for an officer to have an affair with one of his troops-even one that was planted before we joined.

Clearing my voice once again, I speak, "Cornith is the third and smallest planet in the..."

It had begun.
