Stupid rich kid school!

The Accident

    "So, you almost died and they left you like this today, why?" Haruhi asks. "That's what I'm wondering. They hate my guts and yet they didn't do much damage," I say. "Didn't do much damage! Look-" she says, but I hold up a hand to stop her.

     A knock can be heard from downstairs. My eyes widen, "Oh shit! She's not supposed to be back yet!" I race out of the room and head downstairs, ignoring the protests of the club.

     "ANIS!" Chihiro yells. She pulls me into a huge hug. "...can't...breathe!" She lets go of me, "oops, sor- What happened?"

     Tamaki comes from upstairs. "Anis, you shouldn't be-AH!" Chihiro twists his arm and places it behind his back. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BABY!" she yells. The rest of the host club comes downstairs and the twins laugh at the scene.

     "Chihiro! He didn't do this. He's just an acquaintance from school They all helped me!" I say and try to pry her off him. "Oops," she says and lets go of him. She rushes over to me, "What happened?"

     "I-" I start, but Hikaru and Kaoru cut me off. "We don't think so! You have to go back to bed! We'll explain, excuse us," Hikaru lifts me into the air bridal-style and Kaoru runs to get an icepack. I blush like a strawberry and struggle to get away, "PUT ME DOWN!" Hikaru looks at me, "No way!" A little shade of pink comes to his cheek and he carries me upstairs.

     "I don't want to sleep!" I yell, but Hikaru and Kaoru force me under the covers. Kaoru places the icepack on my forehead, and I stop struggling, might as well sleep. It's not like I have a choice. "What's the ice pack for?" I ask. Hikaru gently knocks on my forehead. "You have a bad bruise right there."

     I yawn and instantly fall asleep once they leave.

     (Kaoru's POV)

     I walk a bit behind Hikaru and smile. I think Hikaru may be falling in love with Anis. I can tell by the way he looks at her. I wonder if Anis has the same feelings. Probably not, but she does blush a lot when he's near. I think she just noticed herself blush for the first time when he picked her up.

     I'll just have to push them along myself.

     (Chihiro's POV)

     We all-all meaning me and Anis's friends- sat in the living room and listened to there explanation.

     I bang my fist on the table. They jump at my reaction. "Those stupid twins! They must've escaped or somethi- THAT IDIOT!" I finally realized what has happened. I jump off the couch and kick a hole in the wall.

      "What?" Haruhi asks. I know their names because they introduced themselves. I sit down and rub my temples. "He flippin' pardoned those idiots! Their idiot father is really powerful, he must've pardoned those brats!"

     Now my little Anis is in danger again. How am I supposed to protect her. If I ask Dad to hire bodyguards for her, she'd ditched them right away. She hates everything Dad gives her. Unless...they went to school with her!

     I sigh, "It seems Anis isn't going to tell you anything, so I might as well." I eye all of them. "Do any of you know anything about Anis?" They think for a moment then shake her heads. "All we know about her is that we used to go to school with her best friend." Tamaki says. ...So she told them that story.

     "Ever since she started school, Anis was bullied." They seemed shocked but, at the same time, not surprised. "You've seen her eyes right? Everyone was scared of her. No body wanted to come near her because of her cat eyes. I guess that fear eventually turned into hate. I remember seeing Anis coming home with a new bruise everyday. When I asked her about it, she would just brush it off, saying that she really sucked at sports. And I believed her.

     "Everyone would come up with cruel nicknames for her. But one specific one stuck with her for a while, Cat-Demon. One day when Anis was in third grade, I searched through her book bag for notices from the school. I guess Anis hadn't noticed it, but there was a cruel picture of her. It was in black and white, except for her eyes. She had cat ears and a sinister look was on her face, and underneath it was that exact nick-name."

     "Then came the accident."

     (Anis's POV)

     I sigh as I exit the school. The twins weren't at school so I was free from the physical bullying today. But that didn't stop the teasing or pictures.

     Suddenly, a hand clamped over my mouth. "Here kitty-kitty," a voice said. My eyes widened as he laughed. "Did you think we forgot about you? Think again!" Mark yells. His fist hits me right in the stomach and a lot of wind is knocked out of me.

     Another grips my hair tightly, "Why don't we go to the park. We would love to play with you!" Paige says. They drag me to the same abandoned park and I freak when I see a knife in their hand. I thrash around and I accidentally slap Mark in the face. Biggest. Mistake. EVER!

     I'm pushed to the ground and they start there attack. I scream as a knife enters my leg and is dragged down, but it hurts worse when it is taken out. Paige continues to cut my legs, arms, and face and I'm surprised that I haven't passed out form blood loss. Mark punches me repeatedly in the stomach and I eventually spit out blood.

     "Should I do it brother?" Paige says. I open my eyes and noticed they have stopped. A huge pool of blood circles me and my stomach feels as though it's been stung by millions of bees. But Paige is holding a knife over my heart. Mark nods.

     The tip of the knife pierces through my skin, but stops as both Paige and Mark are pulled off of me. A bright light is flashed in my face, "Quick, she's still alive! We have to take her to the hospital!" I'm lifted into the air by an officer. My vision is blurry, but I don't pass out. I feel my body being on a stretcher. I can hear whispering and gasps. I turn my head and see that a crowd has gathered.

     The sound of a car door closing can be heard, "ANIS! OH MY GOD, ANIS!" The crowd parts to let someone through. I see Chihiro running towards me with tears in her eyes. She looks as though she had just come from work.

     She hugs me tightly, "Anis!" That's the last thing I hear before I pass out.

     Later, I learn that I had a few broken ribs and the amount of blood lost would mean that I would have to come four times a month for a check-up. It's unnatural to lose that much blood and still survive.

     (No one's POV)

     As Chihiro explains the accident, the sound of broken glass followed by an ear-piercing scream could be heard from upstairs. Faster than everyone else, Hikaru runs upstairs. The sight shocks him and everyone else, but shock is quickly replaced with anger.

     (Anis' POV)

     The cool blade enters my stomach and my eyes snap open, I let out a scream before my mouth fills with a metallic taste that I recognize to be blood. Something stings my cheek as the knife is raised up one more and once again enters my stomach. I tried to stop it, but it caused me to receive a deep gash in my arm.

     Paige is pulled off of me and I turn my head to see the entire host club prying her off me. They restrain her as Chihiro, Haruhi, and Kyoya run over to me. "We can take her to my family's hospital, it's the closest there is." Before anyone can do anything, Hikaru picks me up and yells, "Where is it?"

     Kyoya seems shocked at first, but his expression turns back to normal. "Two blocks ov-" Before he can finish, Hikaru runs out of the room.

     "You'll be alright Anis!" people stop and stare with shocked faces, just like before. I smile at Hikaru and shake my head. I bring a hand up to his cheek, "I'm...sorry. I'm not.. going to..make it..." my vision darkens. "Don't go," he whispers as we enter the hospital. But it's too late, I'm already gone.
