The Goodbye's

I am in a room and wait for my mom to come and say goodbye to me.

My mom comes in and I give her a long hug.

"You have to win, you have to win for your father" says my mom to me.

I've actually never seen my mom like this because she doesn't talk much to me.

Suddenly, a peacekeeper comes in the room and pulls us apart. I quickly give her one last hug and I'm alone again.

I look into my moms eyes as she gets dragged out of the room.

I ask if somebody else can come and they allow me.

My best friend Sean comes in and I give him a hug.

"Bye Danny I hope you'll get far in the games" he says and he gives me a hug again.

"I really do hope I win but im sure I won't" I say looking into his eyes.

He hands me a necklace with a green pearl inside.

"Please wear this as your districts token" he says softly.

"Stand out" Sean says "When life gives you lemons, make orange juice and leave the world wondering how you did it"

I smile, knowing he's trying to help me.

"Make an impression" and with that a peacekeeper comes in and takes Sean out of the room.

After a while Daisy comes into the room and takes me to a car which is probably going to the train.

"How is the Capitol? " I ask and Daisy answers:

"Its huge, you will probably love it"

Clara doesn't talk through out the ride to the train so I try to be polite and ask her if she's fine.

Clara looks up to me and simply responds

"Im fine,thanks"

The car stops and we go to the train.

The train is immense and full of food so I immediatly grab a cake.
