Chapter 4

"I-Its you again..."

Mina recognizes the man immediately. His cocky grin and slender dark eyes won't leave her mind. How could she forget the guy who bought all 76 puddings on the spot? Not to mention giving her a $100 tip. That memory is still fresh on her mind.

"Hey, what a coincidence," the guy said as he walks up to her, both hands in his pockets.

He glanced over her dress, the scent of wine still lingering. He looks at her with unwavering eyes, making her heart pound and her cheeks blush.

"Did you have an accident?"

Mina didn't want to explain her sorry state but his eyes couldn't stop staring.

She avoided his eyes and said, "K-kinda...it was my fault anyways...I wasn't looking where I was going..."

The man's eyes didn't leave her, he came up closer, and leans his face towards hers until they were about a few inches apart. Mina flinches and was about to step back until his right hand softly touch her right cheek. She felt the warmth of his hands, they were rough but smooth. He traces his thumb under her eyes, removing the remaining tears that were left. Her eyes focus on his, then slide to his soft red lips. She couldn't think straight, her mind felt fuzzy.

After a moment he says, "Come with me."

Wait. What did he say, "Huh?"

He removes his hand and walks past her towards the elevator, tilts his head in her direction, grins, and says, "I'm gonna take you somewhere for a bit."

Mina didn't understand where he'd take her, but she couldn't leave her brother behind, "I can't! At least...I can't leave my little brother. He's been waiting for me on the 10th floor so I gotta head back."

The guy turns his body facing hers and takes out his cell, quickly dialing a number...Brrrrrrrrr *clicks*

"Hey, head to the 10th floor, there's a child there waiting alone, I want you to look after him," then he hangs up and says, "don't worry about it, one of my men will take care of him."

"O-Oh...but where are we going?" Mina nervously asks.

He smiles and says, "You'll see," before turning towards the elevator and presses the down button.

The elevator opens and he walks in, Mina follows after as he presses the first-floor button. She knew she shouldn't follow strangers but she felt this guy was different. He had a calm aura around him but he also seems like someone who'd help out if others ask, but why did he ask her to come with him?

"You must have a lot of questions in your mind," he says with another smile.

"U-Uh how'd you know?"

He cocks his head towards her, "Because your face is pretty obvious."

Mina didn't know what to say with that remark which reminds her...she didn't get to ask his name...

"Oh yeah... I didn't ask your name."

The elevator opens and he steps out, "Zen," he says before turning around.

Zen...where have I heard that name before.

Before she could think further, Zen lends out his hand. His eyes appear soft and determine, his smile looks confident and refined. She felt her heartbeat slowly quicken, her hand slowly took his, and they both left together.

Zen's silver sedan Audi slowly stops in front of L'amour Dans L'air Brand, one of the top ten brands out there which specialize in custom clothing and new seasonal clothing. Zen got out of his car and quickly walk to the passenger's side and opens the door. Mina steps out taking the sight of the store.
