secrets and lies
they seem so harmless
in fragments they are water drops
grazing the surface almost thoughtless
at first they don't bother you
barely seeping through your skin
when it starts coming down
sooner or later you're soaked
and not even an umbrella can save you
all that's left is to accept the consequences
or run for shelter
if only you had checked the forecast
