Shock overwhelmed me. What? . I quickly opened my menu and and scrolled down. It wasn't there, the "Log Out" button that i saw just a couple of minutes ago wasn't here. I scrolled up and down once again searching for it but it really has disappeared from the column of buttons. What she said was true... there's no log out button... is there a bug in the system...?
"Gi-Gin..." i turned to her. "What to do...? This is a bug right...?" i asked her hoping she would reply with a positive answer.
"I...I don't know.... I never even heard of a bug that can remove the log out button..." she looked down at her feet.
"Wha....what...?" i gulped.
The both of us turned to the direction of the two men once again, secretly eavesdropping. Waiting for them to see if they would know.... how to get out of this troublesome situation.
“Argh! My anchovy pizza and ginger ale...!” the red head shouted.
“Why don't you call a GM? They might cut you off from their side.” the other one replied calmly.
“I tried, but there's no response. It's already 5:25! Hey, Kirito! Isn't there some other way to log out?” He waved both of his hands in the air restlessly.
I touched my chin with a finger while nodding and looking at the black haired man. "Kirito..." i whispered his name to myself. Something is boiling inside of me, like something is gonna happen with that "Kirito" involved. But it feels like that "something" will still happen long in the future.
"What is it...?" Gin turned to me, she must have heard me say his name.
"It's....nothing..." i replied, still looking at the two men.
I heard Gin mumble something under her breath, i didn't get to hear it though.
"Hey, Claire...." Gin tapped my shoulder.
I turned to her. "What is it?"
"This is just my opinion, 'kay? I think we shouldn't listen to their conversation, i mean.....it's like.....you know...."
"Yeah, .....it's rude let's just go somewhere else" i turned to leave. Gin followed me from behind as we left the hunting grounds. We didn't chat with each other though, we were too busy thinking about ourselves, too busy thinking about the missing log out button. Why isn't it there? This is just a game right? But.... how come i'm nervous? i...i shouldn't be...........there's just an error in the system....just some error.... i rubbed my temples, settling myself to calm down. When we finally arrived at the townsquare called "Starting City", everyone that was there had a confused expression on their faces, they kept checking their menu, scrolling up and down. That's when a loud chime which sounded like a bell echoed through the sky all of a sudden, making us all startled and surprised. Suddenly, we were all surrounded with blue shimmering light, each one of us started disappearing with the light, even i did along with Gin by my side. Darkness invaded my vision and as i gained light i was finally able to see clearly again. I looked around, there was tons of people here, no, it looks more like there's a thousands here. I can hear the people's screams and shouts, "What's going on? Can't we log out now? Can't they take care of it quickly?".
"This is...."Forced Teleport" Shina blurted out.
"Where are we?" i asked.
"Were at the central plaza of Starting City" She briefly said. "Why are we teleported here?"
i just shrugged at her question and looked up to the moving bell that kept chiming in the tall tower. Suddenly, my eyes averted from the tower to the sky, there was something red blinking up there.
