|14|「Miss Out On」

Chapter 14

“Come on, It’s just a microwave!” All Might cheered from his lounging chair while sipping some juice.

Midoriya was currently struggling with a microwave that was heavier than it looked.

“Use your legs!” All Might shouted.

Straining to lift, he managed to heave it towards himself; dragging it to the other side of the room where a lift was.

The lift was wide enough for many items to go on it, but when full; Midoriya has to manually pull a rope to bring it up where another machine sucks it up.

So far, there were only scraps of metals from the fallen machinery and smaller machines. Not many had fallen off on the outside, but there were some in the middle that’s under the machines.

Dragging the microwave to the lift, he grabbed the bottom and tried to swing the microwave onto it.

SNAP!

“Huh?”

The microwave had gone into the lift but Midoriya was stuck. His back was as stiff as a board with his hands stuck in the same throwing position.

All Might had spat out his juice that was in his mouth, he did just warn Midoriya about that.

“Ouch,” All Might winced.

“Erm, I think that’s enough training for the day,”

Midoriya tumbled over, breathing deeply. He was up training for who knows how much hours; basically moving machinery across the room. 
In the first hour, All Might was looking at a small copy of Midoriya’s documents. Saying he was surprised was an understatement.

The second hour he was sitting on Midoriya’s back in his buffed form while Midoriya squirmed underneath him. It was supposed to see how much strength Midoriya had in him; not much though since he had nearly suffocated under there. 

The rest was basically All Might drinking juice and cheering on from the sidelines.

All Might walked over to a drowsy Midoriya.

“Midoriya my boy, time to go!” All Might shouted, startling the green haired boy.

“Um, hmm, yes sir,” Midoriya squint his eyes to at least get some of the sleep out of his eyes, which he did.
Midoriya stumbled to get himself up and barely steadied himself. He was exhausted and hungry with his muscles ached and a tearing headache. 

When he was close to All Might, the thoughts came back even worse; trying to convince Midoriya about what was secretly going on but of course he denied it and continued.

So Midoriya was tired mentally, physically and spiritually; because of All Might cheerfully pushing him down with words while he sat back drinking juice and relaxing.

All Might slid his card on the card detector and the door opened. Just like before, the rooms that were occupied; were still occupied by people probably the same ones who were there before.

Midoriya wanted to ask about it, but it was disrespectful to ask about something that was none of his business.

They walked towards the elevator and got in; then pressed the green button for the first floor so they could come out of the building.

Before the elevator, one of the occupied doors opened up.

Unfortunately the elevator doors closed before the person occupying the room came outside.

Emerald eyes looked up towards, well, darken eyes; it was hard to see his eye color when he squinted them in his everlasting smile. Midoriya’s small smile fell a bit when he looked up at the six foot plus man; mainly at his so called shiny hair.

‘I’m going to be sick’ Midoriya thought as his skin crawled a bit.
The doors soon popped open at the first level. All the doors were unoccupied, with nobody remaining in the hallways as well.

The pair walked down the hallway, one well relaxed while the other was trying their best to not fall asleep.

They reached outside while the sun was setting.

“I think we may have stayed a bit too long,”

‘You think’ Midoriya thought as he side eyed All Might, who was still smiling brightly as if fighting the brightness of the sun.

All Might sensing the distress from Midoriya; gently pushed Midoriya forward and whispered quietly for Izuku’s ears only.

“You hear them too, don’t you?”

_______Three Days Ago______

“All Might,” A cheeky voice from above said, “Care to explain?”

They caught All Might far outside from the headquarters he was given; covered in mud and blood.

He was placed on a top secret operation overseas, but All Might asked to go to Tokyo for needed information that could help with his current mission. They gave him permission to be there, then the next day he left and was found nowhere near Tokyo but in Mustafu.

“Went for a walk?” All Might said but it felt more like a question.

“Hm, I don’t think so,” Another voice said from on a different side of the room.

“Either way, we’ll discuss that later, we’ve prepared an arrangement that you wouldn’t want to miss out on,”
