‘You think’ Midoriya thought as he side eyed All Might, who was still smiling brightly as if fighting the brightness of the sun.
All Might sensing the distress from Midoriya; gently pushed Midoriya forward and whispered quietly for Izuku’s ears only.
“You hear them too, don’t you?”
Midoriya’s emerald eyes widen. He thought it was just a random thought that wasn’t very convincing since he kept on ignoring it.
“Hear what?”
It was All Might’s turn for his eyes to expand; it was opened enough for Midoriya could see specks of blue, ice blue. They continued to walk in hushed voices, in case anyone wanted to snoop in their conversation.
Oranges weren’t supposed to obey; they had a mind of their own, if someone were to break them from inside out it was like crushing foil paper and expects it to be crisp and brand new.
Tearing apart someone’s state of mind, just for it to be perfect for them; nothing else.
“Erm, do you feel safe here?”
“Yes,”
Somehow that felt like a command, like someone controlled his mouth and answered; when he deeply knew how he felt, but overlooked it and went with the flow.
“Do you feel compelled to answer something you think you oppose of?” All Might pressed on, hoping to get a reaction from the small boy.
“Sir, if you mind,” Midoriya said almost monotone when he ignored All Might question.
Midoriya pointed to the dorm doors. He still didn’t have a card of his own, but All Might did.
All Might slid his card and the doors opened. Just as the same, as they stepped in their colors glowed in the room before going to the other section where All Might slid his card again.
When the third door opened, there were only two prisoners talking amongst themselves around a nearby table; one of the prisoners in a yellow overall and the other in a blue overall.
