Sometimes the person who you'd take a bullet for ends up being the one behind the gun.

"Morning sunshine!" His face blocks the sun's rays from illuminating my face. His hair is messed up but still looks better than mine.
"What time is it?" I pop my back and give a big yawn mid stretch.
"9:30 or something like that our phones are still over there so I haven't been able to check." I turns his head over to the night stand by the window where he forced me to put my phone so it was just us, no outsiders.
"How long have you been up? You look a little more energized than your typical person does when they wake up."
"If you must know I've been up for an hour or so, no big deal. You know I wake up early and you seemed so comfortable sleeping on me. I didn't want to move and wake you, plus your nails are sharp and I didn't want you to scratch my stomach."
"You have been up for an hour! That's crazy, have you just been here staring at me?"
"No I haven't been here just staring at you I have been here watching a movie and looking out the window and yes I have watched you to see if there was a chance I could move without waking you."
"Oh. Hey so don't you have work this morning?"
"Yeah at 11 so I'm going to go take a shower in my room and you can go in the kitchen my mom is making breakfast. I think pancakes and eggs. If you want to shower there is a bathroom over there and I have clothes in there you can borrow. They are mainly my workout clothes so you would able to tighten them if they don't fit." He gets up and kicks up his shirt from the floor at me. "You might want this I don't really have any shirts in there."
"Thanks I'll get in the shower real quick then meet you in the kitchen for breakfast. Okay?"
"Sure. Oh and uh you might want this." He throws a towel at my face then with a wave goes down the stairs.

I step out of the shower and grab the old towel from the counter. Peering around the room I try to find the clothes, at that moment I realize that the clothes were in the hamper that I had to move. I wrap the towel around my body and it barely covers my full ass. I try to cover as much as I can I look through the door and see the hamper over in the corner of the room by the stairs and no one is in the room that I can see. I take a breath, close my eyes, and open the door. I make a run for it. I finally get to the hamper look in and get a giant sweatshirt and his running shorts.
"Hey there." I jump back grabbing the towel to make sure it stays on my body.
"Oh my God! What the hell are you doing up here? I thought you were getting in the shower then meeting me in the kitchen for breakfast you weren't supposed to be back up here!" He stares at the ground and glances p at me trying not to make me feel awkward.
"I left my jeans up here and I needed my charger. I didn't plan on seeing my best friend running through the room in a towel. That was a surprise!" He chuckles, I grab a pillow from the bed and through it at him.
"You ass! I didn't see you hiding over there and all your gym clothes are in that hamper so I needed to get to it. I wasn't planning on seeing you till I got to the kitchen for breakfast." Trying to hide my boobs from being exposed I maneuver the towel before this gets even more awkward.
"Calm down Riley. Its not like I haven't see your boobs before. We have been friends since we were infants."
"Omg! Shut up you haven't seen my boobs since I was like 10 so it doesn't count I didn't have any at that time, now I do."
"Its only a matter of time until I do and they are just boobs. You know I have seen boobs before, I am a teenage boy in a relationship."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. Hey if you could like not talk about seeing you girlfriend's boobs, who is my friend, it would be appreciated. Thanks." I give him a half smile and roll my eyes. He laughs and looks at the sweatshirt in his hand.
"I'm just saying they are only boobs and I know what they look like. Now I'm going to goin the kitchen and make some pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Please try to be clothed when you come in, its a rule in the kitchen." He walks pass me, bumping into my shoulder on the way.
"Asshole!" I scream as he walks down the stairs. He waves his hand at me, saying something like don't forget the clothes but I can't tell.
****
"Hey look she can wear clothes." He smiles at his own joke.
"Shut the hell up. I guess you can't wear clothes. I thought their was a rule about wearing clothes in the kitchen. You had a shirt on 15 minuets ago, why don't you have one now?
"The rule is that girls have to keep shirts and pants on and guys have to keep their pants on. It got hot in here while I was making pancakes so I took off my shirt."
"Ahhhh I see. So where is your mom? I though you said she was making breakfast." I sit down on the counter and lay back, turning my head to the left I watch him make pancakes.
"Well, my mom was making breakfast 4 hours ago when I woke up, she came in the garage and told me she was making breakfast. I guess they ate, cleaned up and are out for the day."
"Okay. So what are your plans for today?" I turn my head to the right and admire the view from the windows in their living room. The forest trees and the creek in the distance mesmerize me every time I see it.
"Well I'm supposed to go to Carley's house today but she hasn't answered my calls or text so I don't even know what we're doing or when. Sooooo I'm going for a run after breakfast. You are welcome to stay for as long as you want."
"Sounds fun! Thanks I really don't want to go home right now. I'll just chill here, watch some T.V., eat your food."
"Sounds good." We eat breakfast in the living room and watch Pretty In Pink again. He gave me the remote and headed out for a run. I got up, put my bowl away, and walked to the garage. The ground is ice cold so I skip all the way to the stairway and up to the room.I grab my phone charger and phone. I go over all the snapchats, texts, and updates I missed on the walk back inside. I go outside to let their dog Maggie out and head to the front door.
"Oh thank God its you!" I jump back startled by Carley standing at the front door. Her hair is messed up and eye liner has leaked down her face.
"Hey, Carley. Yeah Dylan just went for a run, he should be back in like an hour so you can come in and wait with me."
"Okay. I'm not really here to see Dylan I actually came to see you. I stopped by your house when you weren't answering your phone and your little sister said you were here, and umm if yo could just not tell Dylan I was here that would be great."
"Oh okay. So what's up?" She is acting as if she is on another planet or something. Why wouldn't she want Dylan to know she stopped by? What is so important I can't even mention that I saw her to him?
"Please just don't tell Dylan what I'm about to tell you. Please, please, please don't hate me for it either. I already hate myself please I need a friend."
"Last night while you and Dylan were here, I went out with my friend Heather and her older brother, Tyler. We went to one of Tyler's friends party, it was a college party, and I.........."
My mouth drops in astonishment.
