Today I had to go back to class 1A. gotta act believable... when you think about it I had been home the last 2 days of the school week and something terrible happened in those 2 days' time. a villain attack. I might be the traitor between them but they obviously can't know that so I have to act like any other person would act when they have heard about their classmates being in life-threatening danger. this was gonna be quite the act.
All this I thought about on my way to school. it honestly frustrated me a bit that I had to put on such a melodrama show but what can you do about it? I sighed annoyed. "Everything alright?" I turned to Shinso who despite my arguments had chosen to walk to school with me. this guy honestly never listens to anything others say now, does he? what a pain. "No everything is just fine," I said with a sigh. "Did you know it is soon the sports festival?" He suddenly said apparently changing the topic. "Already?" I asked surprised. where they still gonna do that when an attack on the school happened recently? what the hell are they thinking?... "Yeah, and I am gonna win it. Then I could get swapped into the hero course" He said confidently making me a little surprised that they would do that just because you won a competition but I couldn't help but smile a little. "well then for your sake I hope we won't have to fight each other us two. me knowing how your quirk works is really a disadvantage for you in a fight right?" I said swinging my school bag over my shoulder resting it there. he nodded and seemed a little into the thought of not having to fight me.
When I entered the school together with Shinso we got quite a few stares. before I could walk down to my class Shinso stopped me by holding onto my arm making me turn to face him with a questioning look. "If there are any team-based challenges or stuff where we can work together can I count on you to help me?" he asked seriously looking into my eyes like he thought I was gonna tease him about needing help or something. "sure why not? can't have my little stalker getting hurt on my watch can I?" I teased with a grin as I messed up his hair even more. he glared at me slightly annoyed but then gave me a small smile and a quick thanks before he went off to his own class. I couldn't help but smile feeling like I made him pretty happy even though he only showed a fraction of his happiness. I could tell he really wanted to become a hero and would do almost anything to get there and his pure dream made me wanna support him even if I didn't really care much for heroes normally. I shook my head a little with a smile as I walked into my classroom. idiot but a pure, sweet idiot.
Sitting in class after quite a bit of playing worried and shocked our door was suddenly flushed with people. seems like everyone wanted to see the people who survived a villain attack. I had survived being around plenty of villains but they, of course, didn't know that and when I politely asked if I could be able to walk out of class they let me surprised I wasn't as annoying as Bakugou even tho it wasn't that hard to be better than him with being polite.
I found a place outside of the school building where I could sit against the wall and eat my lunch that I had made. it was just some sandwiches but it was better than using a lot of money in the cafeteria so I didn't care besides since I made my lunch myself I could decide exactly what there should be in them so they tasted way better than those in the cafeteria if you asked me.
while eating I noticed someone walking closer to me and when I looked up I saw Shinso approaching me with his lunch box with a little wave. "Welcome to my little private lunch spot," I said with a little joking smile. he sat down beside me with a small smile. it was weird seeing him smile more often since he normally just looked tired or slightly annoyed without even trying and his smile wasn't even a fake one like the one he showed others. maybe he had gotten used to me? I still have to remember the reason he is even hanging around me in the first place. he was here to keep an eye on me. that was at least what he had acted like he wanted to in the start but now it just seemed like he was curious about me and my commitment to the villains.
I had made him a lunch box too with sandwiches trying to match his taste more in his lunchbox. if I hadn't become labeled as a villain I might have thought of becoming a chef of some kind. I noticed he was looking at my sandwiches while he was eating himself making me a little confused. "are your sandwiches not to your liking?" I asked curiously. I wanted to at least make something he would enjoy even if I didn't need to. "No, they are fine. can I taste yours too?" he asked seemingly curious about what I like. "well sure. here" I said holding out a sandwich to him but instead of taking it like, I thought he would he just took a bite of it while I was just holding it.
I didn't have time to think about it though because his face suddenly started getting red and he started sweating with tears coming to his eyes. "that is way too spicy!" He exclaimed as he took his water bottle gulping almost all the water down at once and I couldn't help but laugh at him freaking out because of the spice. "here this might help" I said trying to stop laughing as I gave him my juice and he snatched it out of my hand gulping it all down too before sighing so deeply he sounded like a balloon the air slowly rushed out of him. I tried to muffle my laugher behind my hand as he glared at me as I did it on purpose. "there is a reason I gave you the chicken sandwiches. I know you can't handle spicy stuff!" I said to defend myself as I stopped laughing but a big grin still showing on my face. he looked at me skeptically for a while before he forgave me a little again as he stopped pouting.
suddenly the bell rang and we both went to our separate classes for the rest of the day after Shinso told me a little 'thank you for the lunch' before he left. when I went back the crowd in front of our door was gone at least so I could get in easily. the rest of the day it was just boring classes.
I am watching the whole series again to get some inspiration so sorry but this is mostly just a filler chapter but I will go to the sports festival in the next chapter x3
