School ended earlier today. Usually it would be before evening is when we are finished, but we ended up finishing up before the sun set. I guess today was one of the few days when we didn't have too much to learn for the day. Lori didn't show up today for school, so she ended up getting scold at when Aunt Mal found out. I had a feeling she skipped today to go and explore the entrance tunnels she told me about last week. She said there was some secret tunnels in a cave nearby, but I didn't pay too much attention to what she told me. Maybe I'll ask her tomorrow if she found anything in her little adventure.
Me and Cyrus walked home together since it was only the two of us today, and I had to pick up my basket before going to the fields for today. I wanted to pick some flowers and other materials for the present I'm working on, so hopefully I can finish it up by the end of this month. Cyrus also decided to come along with me since he had nothing else to do today. I'm glad he came with me! I think he's a natural at finding things, because he found some beautiful flowers! Maybe when I go out to the fields again I'll ask if he wants to come.
