Sherlock's POV
I got a text from Mycroft saying that he would be here in ten minutes. And that was eight minutes ago. I felt someone move next to me and saw Mel lying next to me still asleep with the sheet covering her body. She stirred a bit then her eyes fluttered open. She saw me and smiled and closed her eyes.
"Morning Sherlock." She said in a very tired voice.
"Good morning Mel."
She sat up holding the sheets to her chest.
"So we really did that last night?" She asked me.
"Yep." I turned to her to see her facial expression, and she was grinning like a mad woman.
She turned to me and started to kiss me. I reluctantly pulled away. She looked worried at this.
"I can't my brother will be here in a minute." I said and pecked her on the lips one last time before I grabbed the dressing gown that was beside me and got up.
"Your brother?"
"Mycroft. He said he'll be here in ten minutes eight minutes ago but knowing him he'll be a minute early."
She sighed and laid back down.
"Do I have to get up?"
"Yes you do."
"Why?"
"Because if I close my bedroom door my brother will get suspicious."
"Wait does that mean you're not going to tell him?" She asked insulted.
"No I am going to tell him but I want you to be there. So go get dressed I'll be in the living room."
Mel's POV
After I got dressed I went into the living room to find Sherlock plucking at his violin and a man sitting across from him.
"Hello Mel." Sherlock said. He stopped playing and looked at me and smiled.
"Hello Sherlock. Who's this?"
"My name is Mycroft. I am Sherlock's brother." Mycroft said also looking at me. "Well now brother you have been busy." He said to Sherlock in a teasing manner.
"I don't know what you mean brother." Sherlock said.
"Don't you? Oh so I suppose that you have no idea how those bruises got on to Mel's neck then? They look like the bruising someone gets when someone else kisses the roughly on the neck." At this my eyes widened. Which made Mycroft laughed. I ran to the mirror to look at my neck.
There were hikies trailing all down my neck. Damn it Sherlock.
"So?" Sherlock asked slight worry was in his voice. And if I noticed it then Mycroft defiantly noticed it.
"Ah. So you two are together." He said smiling.
I turned to Sherlock who seemed to be in shock that Mycroft had figured it out without us telling him. I then turned to Mycroft. He looked very smug.
"Yeah we are." Sherlock finally admitted to his brother. I smiled at this he said we were together.
"I knew it. Anyway that's really all I came for."
"Um Sherlock I have to go shopping with Mrs.Hudson. I'll be back later." I said because it had gotten very awkward in the room.
I grabbed my coat and the keys that John gave me this time yesterday. I walked down stairs to find Mrs.Hudson.
Sherlock's POV
Mycroft had made the room very awkward. So awkward that Mel had decided to go ask Mrs.Hudson if she wanted to go shopping. When she left I looked back at Mycroft who was smiling a smile that reached his ears.
"So you finally found yourself a girlfriend Sherlock? And a pretty one as well." He said.
"Oh shut it Mycroft. I know you have more important business then to tease me."
"Yes I do. So I'll be leaving now."
"Oh no I'll miss you." I said sarcastically.
"Oh my. She has even got you to use sarcasm. She is a keeper Sherlock." And with that he got up and left.
A minute later Mel came back in. She mustn't have been able to find Mrs.Hudson. She came over and sat on the arm of my chair. She looked at me.
"Are you okay Sherlock? You seem distracted."
"Yes I'm fine."
"Your brothers not teasing you too much is he?"
"How did you know that?"
"I couldn't find Mrs.Hudson so I came back but I heard that your brother was still here and that he was teasing you about girlfriends." She said.
"Wow."
"I know I'm brilliant."
I looked up at her to find that she was staring at me the whole time. I kissed her on the cheek and stood up.
"Grab your coat Mel. We're going somewhere special." I told her.
She got up and grabbed her tan coat and followed me out the door.
