(EARLY VERSION ) Monsters University (Johnny Worthington x reader)

In the city of Monstropolis, a school bus with many young Monsters drove down the road to the front lot of Monsters Inc. 

The doors opened and all the wild young kids ran and or flew out the bus door.  Their teacher slid down the steps explaining the field trip rules.

"Alright everybody remember the field trip rules! No pushing, no biting, and no fire breathing."

One of the kids blows fire at another student.

"What did I just say?" Mrs. Graves says.

As Mrs. Graves counts her students she notices a pair of students were missing.

Two small hands hit the door of the school bus and Mrs. Graves turns around.

"Oh, Mike and Y/N."

Y/N POV

The bus doors open for me and Mike.

"Thanks Joe, good luck finishing your crossword puzzle!" Mike says.

As Mike tries to step off the bus I help him down and right next to him.

"Sorry you two I didn't see you guys." Mrs. Graves apologizes.

But Micheal brightens up. "That's okay, because when we were on the bus I found a nickel!"

"I can hold it for you." I say with a small smile.

He gives it to me and I put it in my hoodie pocket.

"I wish I had pockets." Mike says.

We walk into the crowd of our students as Mrs. Graves says for everyone to find a field trip buddy.

After Mike tries to get other kids to be his partner I walk up to him after he's rejected.

"I can just be your partner again."  I say.

Mike smile and grabs my hand.  "Come on then lets go!"

Mike runs behind the crowd of our students as we walk to the factory.

"Come on Y/N we're falling behind!" Mike says.

We were inside the factory being led through the building by a tour guide.

"Now stay close together, we're entering a very dangerous area.  Welcome, to the scare floor!"

Me and all of my classmate looked in awe at the scare floor, seeing a line of doors that lead to the human world.

"This is where we collect the scream energy to power our whole world!  Now can anybody tell me who's job it is to go get that scream?"

The students all respond excitedly.  "Scarers!"

"That's right!  Now which one of you can give me the scariest roar!"

The students simultaneously shout "me!" and start roaring.

"Y/N show them your roar." Mike suggested.

I looked down in embarrassment.  "Oh, um.  I don't know, I feel like my roar can be too scary sometimes.  Why don't you do it?"

Mike smiles at me and gives out a roar.

Everyone looks back and in awe.

I knew they weren't looking at Mike though.

Me and Mike looked behind as well and saw scarers walking to the scare floor.

A scarer, Frank McKay walks up to us.
