yeji heard the conversation between yuna and lia but she isn't angry. she's willing to lend them her car but just... can she even do it?

yeji turned on the tv and started catching up with the news, trying to know what's happening with the world until something caught her attention.

"famous and rich ceo mr and mrs hwang are looking for their daughter who has gone missing for 3 months. if anyone had seen her, please let the police know. they are searching for her too." yeji looked up on the tv and saw her own picture that was on the screen.

"what..." yeji was literally so surprised. her mum was the one who literally made her leave her own home. she immediately dialed her mum's number.

"mum?" the call connects and yeji's mum cleared her throat. "ah.. so we have to resort into using this then you'll contact us huh?" yeji's mum scoffed and yeji was infuriated.

"i don't get it. what's wrong with you? i hate our-"

"what's wrong with me? you not marrying him was a big loss we had to afford to lose. is this what you're supposed to do for your parents? being unfilial?" yeji rolled her eyes and then continued speaking.

"why are you literally sending your daughter off for your fucking company!? im your daughter NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN TRADE FOR!" yeji screamed at her mum whom kept quiet.

"are you speechless now-"

"im not yeji. i will never change my mind. if you don't get back by tomorrow, i will continue reporting it to the police and the news." yeji's mum threatened yeji who only ended the call.

yeji sighed and then headed back into her room with lia. she remembered how she slept with lia and smiled. "it's cool how i stayed here for 3 months and now I've brought unhappiness to all of them here.." yeji mumbled to herself as she starts packing her belongings.

"thank you lia & yuna." yeji smiled as she placed the polaroids of her and lia on the night desk. she then grabbed all her bags and took a spin around the room. "goodbye everyone." yeji said before walking out.

she placed the keys on the table and left a note for both lia and yuna.

yeji rung the doorbell a few times and then someone ran out. "yes?" it was one of their helper.

"you must be new huh? im hwang yeji." yeji introduced herself and the helper immediately bowed. "sorry ma'am, please get in!" she then opened the gates for her which yeji thanked her for.

"back to hell once again haha." yeji mumbled softly. "sorry? what did you say?" the helper immediately caught up with yeji, signaling her that she'll help her with her belongings.

"nothing."

"ah. i see you're here." yeji's mum said in a tone where it's cold. "mary, help clean the room for this big princess." her mum commanded and the helper immediately ran up the room with her cleaning equipment already placed outside the room.

"tomorrow, you will be meeting him again. i hope you're ready." yeji's mum then walked away into the kitchen. yeji sat down on her own couch and sighed. she had already mentally prepared for this to happen.

"right.. marrying him is definitely happening to me." yeji rolled her eyes and then she took out her phone.

chaeryeong then called yeji. yeji answered the call and immediately chaeryeong spoke, "YEJI?! I SAW THE NEWS. DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE AT HOME ALREADY!" chaeryeong shouts while yeji winced a little at the loud volume.

"chill chaer. yes i am at home already. i have no choice.." yeji sighed as she spoke. chaeryeong was worried on the other hand. "you will be marrying him?" chaeryeong asked while yeji only stayed silent.

"of course? if i don't, my mum would embarass me even more!" yeji couldn't even imagine how the people who knows her would react.

"what about.. lia?"

silence.

"ah.. chaeryeong, i will talk to you later alright?" yeji immediately ended the call and stared at the last conversation she had with lia.

it ended with lia saying '<3'. yet it has the power to make yeji smile.

"hello." the boy's parents arrived at yeji's mansion and all of them greeted each other. "i heard your daughter had gone missing. what is going-"

"nothing, mrs lee. it was a false alarm. she came back anyways." yeji's mum said with a giggle which sounded really fake. "oh my.."

"where's yeji?"

"there." yeji's mum pointed at the sleepy yeji that just left her room. "good morning." yeji greets as she yawns.

"adorable." the boy commented and his mother immediately agreed. "right! i agree." yeji's mum only smiled at the silly conversation both of them had.

"come here, yeji." yeji walked towards them and sat next to her mum. "now she's not that against to marrying our son, am i right?" mrs lee looked at yeji who only gave her a fake smile. "yeah, she isn't. she's fine with it."

yeji wanted to shout no so badly but in order not to mess up whatever her mum's plan is, she decided to just nod.

yeji's phone then vibrated on the table which distracted everyone. "sorry.." yeji picked up her phone and went away from everyone.

"it's just a call, don't worry." yeji's dad reassured them that yeji is not leaving. yeji was on the call for about 5 minutes and everyone was getting a little impatient.

"yeji?" yeji's mum called out which yeji turned around while saying 'sorry, talk to you later'. "sorry everyone, it was my friend, she saw the news about me going missing and yeah." yeji explained and sat down once again.

"it's alright." mrs lee said with a grin. "so about the wedding, we will settle it for you alright?" mrs lee added while yeji's mum agreed. "alright sweet." mrs lee smiled fakely which yeji's mum sensed it. "disgusting." yeji's mum muttered under her breath in which yeji heard. "sorry? mrs hwang? mind repeating that?" mrs lee knew that yeji's mum said something about her. after all both the mothers of both match were enemies since middle school.

"lia! look! yeji's stuff are gone and she left a note and her keys here." yuna shouted which caught lia's attention. "eh.." lia sighed in disappointment. she ran into her room and saw how the bed was made neatly. "she really left."

immediately, lia dug out her phone to text yeji. 

lia: where did you go? why did you leave?

all yeji did was seen her which lia wanted to broke down so badly but yuna was around. "lia! yeji's note! you have to read it please!" yuna passed the handwritten note to lia whom read it quickly. 

"dear yuna & lia.

thank you for all these 3 months.. yall have been really nice to me. thank you for providing me a place to stay. im so sorry for always picking a fight with you yuna.. sorry. i hope you're better off without me HAHAHA :) and for lia, i understand that you're not ready for a relationship and I won't force you for getting into a relationship with me.

why was i ignoring you, you may wonder? i did that because i wanted to lose my feelings for you so that i dont hurt that much when you get a new partner. also yes, that day when you came home drenched, i prepared the warm water for you :) glad you enjoyed it. thank you for everything.
