Episode 3 : Spread all over me

I was right , this is the episode where he discovers that hes infected . but maybe itll be different now that I'm here , but I may be just an extra character in the crazy world that Im suddenly in .

Ugh I miss my family

Hyun su hasn't woken up yet , and I bet hes hungry since we didnt get to eat the ramen from earlier . So I stood up from the bed , and stretched a little I started looking for his kettle so that I could at least warm the noodles again even though itll probably get overcooked . Once succeeding in finding his kettle I began to pour the contents of the ramen inside , and turned on the kettle .

while waiting for it to finish , I remembered that I had somehow brought food with me , so I took it out and almost screamed from happiness . I had brought meat , my beloved partner ,my everything . It was spam and it was canned , as I looked around his tiny spaced apartment . I found that he had a pan but no oil so I opted with water , it still cooks so thats fine .

"ugh , my head hurts" His voice startled me , he looked at me smiling a little while peeking over his so called kitchen to see the spam that I was cooking . "I dont remember having any spam with me ?" he said , while standing up . "mine" I said , he looked at me confused "I packed food with me , before I had to leave home and just suddenly remembered I had it" I turned back biting my lip from spilling more made up words .

"I-Im sorry" he said , while coming closer towards me , I nodded and was about to say something when blood started dripping down from his nose . He looked at me , and back at the blood continuously dripping down the floor . he immediately rushed to the bathroom , while I sighed knowing this was going to happen .

I went to his computer and searched the article he saw from before , "I knew it"

I whispered to myself , Hyun su came back , with a tissue inserted inside his nostrils .

"you look stupid" I said , while laughing away the knowledge of him being infected already , he only looked at me , and pouted . This Hyun su seemed so different from the series . "thanks its not like I already knew that" he replied , his gaze averted to his computer this is not a disease , this is a curse he read the article , another pop-up advertisement appeared monster outbreak I read .

Hyun su took the mouse and clicked it away , then he continued reading the article people frequently complained of having these symptoms : nose bleeds , head aches , black outs and yet no one listened nor payed any mind to it . people who have these symptoms must stay away or kill themselves . because its better to kill yourself , than turn into a savage monster .But if youre already infected then I suggest to- before he could finish the screen read server down .

great he said , he turned to the window and decided to open the curtains . My eyes started to water , this wasnt home anymore . I rushed to him , and closed the curtains refusing to believe that this is the world now . rose he said , my name sliding off his tongue perfectly . yeah ? I replied hugging one of his pillows while he was fiddling with his fingers , if its okay to ask , how did you end up moving here ? hmm how should I answer that ? I um , I went out to explore I replied not looking at him . really? he asked , our skin was close .

"I lost my way , I lost my home"I replied it was true , Im not home anymore . I was still crying , so I wiped my tears away and stood up sniffling . "so anyways , I think the food is ready , lets eat first kay ?" not waiting for his reply , I took the food and placed them on containers I saw on his boxes .

"I should check the box outside , I think I saw packets that werent opened" he said , while grabbing a rod just in case . "neo michyeoss-eo? akka geu yeojaleul bwass-eo? geunyeoga dol-a omyeon? (are you crazy , you saw that woman from earlier right , what if she comes back) I argued ,

geunyeoneun oji anh-eul geos-ida ( she wont) he replied while his hand grabbed the doorknob , as he opened it .

I almost screamed , but remembered that this monster had great hearing . I signaled him to not move , and to shut up . he moved away from the door , and motioned me to do the same . the monster with its half head , entered our room , Ughhhh I cant see , I cant see it kept repeating those words as it continued moving through the room .

Once I was close enough to Hyun su , he grabbed my waist and pulled me inside the bathroom , he slowly closed the door and locked it . our breathing was heavy and I was scared , he was scared , we were both scared and fearing for our lives .

"I HEAR YOU~" the monster said , and suddenly a branch like vine pierced through the door and fortunately hit the wall above the shower head , missing us completely . After sometime , he retracted the vine . From the whole it created we saw it leave the room , we waited for a few seconds before we went out .

we arent safe in our room anymore , we have to leave I told him as I began grabbing my backpack , and stuff that might be of use to us . he nodded and grabbed his own bag , and picked up the rode . As we were about to leave the room , we heard voices of children below us .

"APPA , APPA ( DAD , DAD ) "

I sighed and looked below the window , and saw their father climbing down . is he stupid , or just born dumb I said , this is not the time to play spiderman when a monster could easily spot him . But to our horror a huge eyed monster appeared , and somehow heard the childrens voices .

"APPA ANI ( dad , no )!" but it was too late , their father panicked and lost hold over the string he was holding onto , out of reflex Hyun su screamed as the monster was about to enter the childrens window . I quickly looked for something , anything my hands could reach , and saw the computer .

"hyun su I'm sorry" and threw his computer hitting the ugly hugged eyed monster right in the center , which made it move towards us , I threw another thing and this time it moved towards me .

Hyun su pushed me out of the way , and so the monster had its grip on him , tightening it every second Hyun su tried to fight back .

I had a knife In had , as I was about to stabbed it , it suddenly went out the room , releasing Hyun Su . I peaked over the window , and so man on his window sill , holding a gun . I was about to shout a thank you when he took out a board behind him .

"jenjang, nan geoui siya-e deul-eo wass-eo (shit , Im near sighted) " I cursed myself for being so careless with my eyes , I looked back at hyun su who have seemed to be fine and motioned him to come closer . I pointed at the board , he looked at me weirdly , "my eyes are near sighted , go read it" he made an O face and began reading it . he then understood what is says , and nods . "he said to not make any sounds , said that the thing could hear us" he looked out for a second , then went back in "he asked If you wanted to save the kids" he looked at me waiting for an answer .

We glanced at eachother , "what are you waiting for , yes , yes were saving them ."

he went out and stuck his thumb out , he squinted his eyes and nodded . he then grabbed my hand , and quickly pulled us out from his apartment room . "uli eodiloganeungeoya (where are we going ?)" I asked quietly , to the old mans room he answered .

along the way , we came paths with the eyeless monster , but successfully avoided him .

we finally came to a stop , room 1508, I read aloud , Hyun su knocked and an old man , on a wheel chair greeted us . he motioned us inside , and locked his door .

" it's good to see you alive , now I need your equipment" he said , raising his hands to our equipments .

"why can't we use your gun ?" Hyun su asked , " this old thing wont help you , I can turn you're things into a more helpful equipment " he proceeded to do whatever he was doing . "by the way what are your names? " he asked "rose" I said , "cha hyun su" hyun su said but his voice was a little low , "MWO? (WHAT?) " the old man asked .

I snickered at him , "Cha Hyun Su" he replied a little more louder this time . "ah , a shy speaker and a foreigner am I correct ?" he said looking at me , "right" .

"Are you half-siblings ?" he asked "aniyo" we both answered , "girlfriend, boyfriend?" he asked , we both shook our heads " ANIYOO" he smiled and nodded , "friends then ?" he asked once more "SO how do we save the children?" I asked wanting to get this over with "correction , its Both of you who'll save them . "
