TW: description of pain/blood, Quirk Malfunction.
It was morning and as always, class 1a was being both disruptive and destructive. They were in the training hall. Bakugo was yelling at Deku; Mina was having an argument with darkshadow; Shoji, Koda and Ojiro were having a civil conversation; Denki was short circuting as the girls used him as a phone charger and Iida was trying to get every one to settle down but was failing miserably. Everyone was not paying attention as their teacher, Aizawa, walked into the training hall.
It took everyone a second to register that their teacher was there and when they did register it, everyone quickly shut up and listened.
The very tired and grumpy man was telling them that they were gonna be sparring with each other but without using their quirks.
The pairs:
Shoji vs Tokoyami/winner vs Iida
Momo vs Uraraka
Denki vs Tsu
Koda vs Mineta
Mina vs Denki
Kirishima vs Sero
Aoyoma vs Hagakure
Midoriya vs Bakugo
Jirou vs Ojiro
Todoroki vs Sato
And the pairs would have to fight in front of their classmates while their teacher graded them. And incase a student used a quirk (that wasnt a physical quirk) Aizawa would disable their quirks and give the person who used the quirk a zero.
To be fair, the students found it quite interesting.
It was going good, without anyone getting a zero so far. It went down hill when it was Bakugo's and Midoriya's turn though...
The fight started off fine but, in the heat of the moment...Bakugo made an explosion. His teacher managed to disable his quirk before he set off more explosions but...Something went wrong...
Aizawa's quirk would not stop being activated, even after he blinked loads of times. then- The seemingly emotionless man fell to the floor screaming as agony filled his head, making him feel as if his head was going to explode. The intense agony filled his whole body as blood started dripping from his eyes. Class 1a were all getting traumatised watching their teacher, in agony, crying thick, crimson blood.
Iida ran as fast as he could to inform the other teachers about the situation. He managed to get to All Might in his 'small might' form, Sniper and Granny Kiss Kiss to help his teacher.
None of the other teachers could believe it when they saw it. It was truly a horrifying scene to witness. Most of class 1a were looking terrified and Denki was looking sick.
Sniper ushered the kids outside and comforted them as best to his abilities. It seemed like ages before anything happened. Then- All Might walked out to them and told them that it was just a minor quirk malfunction.
Class 1a all looked at each other, all thinking, 'minor?!' And dreading the thought of how a 'big' quirk malfunction would look like. No one moved and no one spoke. They all waited.
Then- The school nurse walked out helping Aizawa move forward, for he kept his hands infront of his eyes to not accidentally disable someone's quirk. But crimson blood still dripped down his face and the overwhelming agony did not leave yet. But he needed to stay composed.
With a shaky breath he asked Bakugo if he could activate his quirk. The angry Pomeranian replied with a no. The school nurse told him to tag along and if he wanted he could bring a friend, he dragged Kirishima with him.
Granny Kiss Kiss, Angry Pomeranian, Kirishima and the caterpillar man had to go to the hospital that day. And would stay there for another 12 hours as the doctors tried to unmalfunction Aizawa's quirk while not getting their quirks erased.
While they were at the hospital, the class got the rest of the day off.
When they got back to the dorms, it was 1 in the morning and every student from 1a stayed up, waiting for them. Everyone was worried sick.
Luckily, it ended with Aizawa being advised not to use his quirk for the next week and a half and Bakugo got his quirk back.
The students learned one valuable lesson that day, that quirk malfunctions are incredibly dangerous. No matter how minor the malfunction.
