You run to the park and sit on the swings, crying and sniffling. Prince runs up to you.
"Y/N are you okay?"
"I'm not okay Jacob. The man I called my boyfriend has HIV."
He kicks a rock and sits on the swing next to you.
"It'll get better. I promise you."
You smile slightly to Prince's encouraging words.
Prince gets up and walks away, leaving you to think about the memories between you and Roc.
*3 weeks later*
You are at your mom's house, telling her all that went on. She's drinking her tea, nodding her head as you tell her the story.
"Chresanto needs some time to think honey. He loves you." Your mother says.
You think about him for a second and you snap out of your thoughts. You drink your tea and grab your purse. "I'm gonna go to the park mom." You kiss her cheek and leave.
*At the park*
You walk over to your favorite tree and sit under it. As you get settled, a blossom floats down and lands on top of your head. You smile and place it in your journal. You smile bigger at the blossom and sketch it out. You look up to see Shannon standing in front of you. You close your journal.
"What do you want?" You say with venom in your voice.
"I needed someone to talk to and since you're here I thought I'd talk to you." She says.
You sigh. "What can I help you with?" You say.
"I'm pregnant." Shannon says.
Those 2 words made your heart stop and made the world stop. You sniffle as the tears build up.
"Chresanto isn't the father Y/N." She says. You release a sigh of relief
"Oh so it's Craig's?" You ask.
She shakes her head.
"My baby's daddy is Daniel." She says biting her lip.
"That's funny because I have a brother named Daniel...." You say, your voice trailing.
Shannon bites her lip harder. nods her head, and says "I'm pregnant with your brother's baby."
