Home Sweet Home

I close my umbrella and spread my arms out as if I'm flying. I smile as the rain showers on my face, my hair plasters onto my face, my clothes stick to my body exactly how I like it.

Rain. My favourite type of weather. It was raining when we were born, it was raining when we became friends and it was raining when I told him my feelings. It was raining when he said he loves me too, it was raining when he proposed and it was raining when I accepted. I felt my senses awake, the drip drop of each raindrop, the earthy smell, this is why I loved the rain where the earth was being cleansed and having its own big shower.

"Sorry I'm late"

I felt strong, familiar arms wrap themselves around my waist and I smiled as he buried his face in my hair, inhaling the scent he always said he loved.

I unwind his fingers from my waist and turn in his embrace, tiptoeing as my lips meet the tip of his nose. He doesn't have have to apologise, I'd forgive him anyway.

He dips his head lower so that our foreheads touch, his eyes probing visual caress. I inhale, my heart drumming gently a different beat as our eyelashes flutter against one another. Tao's eyes always stop my breathing. The way they curve and crease slightly at the side, the way they're both the same size showing my face on each pupil, the way they look at me expressing the emotion that joins two hearts into one.

My lips part slightly to ask whether his members are in the car, but before I can do so his lips meet mine. A few seconds of heaven. That's what I would call it. A sincere kiss which bursts my bubble and makes me cry.

He envelops me with his arms, my head fitting perfectly under his neck as I cry and he hushes me.

"I'm missing you already" I whisper, sniffing as I look up at him. I hate it when we're together and there is a time limit. Time rushes things, especially whenever we are together. Strange, his power in his group happens to be time control....

In reality we can never stop time to make it last as long as we wanted.

But this is what makes me love him even more. Our time together is always restricted which makes every moment count; things don't last forever but forever can be a second and a second with him is my moment of eternity.

"Jia. You need to go" he reminds me. I nod looking behind him at my unnies with their suitcases. They pat him as he bows at them and turns back to me.

"You need to go too"

Tao blinks and a tear runs down his cheek. The fact that I won't see him for five months hits me as the rain falls harder.

"Hyung, let's go" he calls to his members as I notice that they're standing near us. They shuffle awkwardly, picking up their bags whilst avoiding any eye contact.

"Don't worry noona, we'll take care of Tao" Sehun croaks as he takes Tao's hand.  My hand slips away from him, the rain and my tears mix into one through which I notice that he enters the gates without looking back.

The rain lightens as I'm walking towards my members and we make our way to enter our gate for the flight to Taiwan.

"Here's your boarding pass ma'am."

I sigh and take a breath in deeply, inhaling the scent. A familiar scent. A drop of water falls on my neck, running down the crook of my shoulder. I feel icy, warm fingers rising up my arms to the tip of my neck.

"Wo ai ni."

My eyes widen and I immediately spin to face him. Tao plants a quick kiss on my forehead and walks off, leaving me touching the spot where his lips met my skin whilst I watch his retreating figure.
