Love is like taking an exam. The moment you indulge yourself studying to get high grades the more you expect of a positive result. Parang love, the more you exert time and effort, the more you anticipate of a happy ever after.Which only happen in fairytales. Alas! we are living in a real world,where happiness,pain, letting go and moving on are the main choices. And if you let yourself be fooled then,congratulations, coz you bury yourself six-feet below the ground.

Her POV

Everybody is   staring at her as she is walking on the corregidor. She can clearly hear them saying words of praise and remarks of envy. Ano bang bago? Sanay na ako.

“Ang talino niya ano nasa top na naman siya” a girl with a not so good fashion sense said

You might be wondering that i am a female counterpart of Einstein or other weird scientist with all the thick glasses and messy hair that is all over the place. You got it all wrong.

“Oo nga, well, she’s beautiful and intelligent, that’s why i want to be like her” a girl with full blown make-up uttered.

 See? I told you.I’m born with it alangan naman na ipamigay ko tssk...

Akala ba niya madaling maging ako? Well, she should think again. I walk pass them saying nothing. All the students here in this university know me very well. Though i barely know them.Why would I?

Sanay na ako sa mga papuri at mas lalong sanay na na maraming naiingit sa akin. Nakakasawa na. Well, that’s a package deal. Am I too proud?May ipagmamayabang naman.

Eris' Lesson #1-Take pride on who you are and the things you can do.

I’m heading to my office, yes you heard it right. Why? I’m the Editor-in-Chief of our school organ. Mind you people i’m good at so many things.

Nakarinig ako ng mga tilian, mga babae talaga, i didn’t even bother to look back. Why would i waste my time on trivial matters? Would it help solve the peace and order problem  in our country or even poverty? Hindi diba, so why bother. Yes, I am a snob, so? I don’t care.

 I just continue my not so long journey towards my office when suddenly i  heard a masculine voice, “Hello, Eris do you need some company?”  I don’t need to turn around just to see who’s the guy is.

I know the jerk very well. “ Do you honestly think that I need a jerk’s company, Mr. Francisco?The last time i checked i’m not amputated  so i can perfectly manage.”

Akala niya sa akin mauuto niya, alam ko naming pinagpupustahan nila ako ng kateam mate niya kaya kinukulit niya akong ligawan. Yah, he’s a varsity player with a handsome face i must say, that’s just it, no substance.

I’m about to continue my walk when he grabs my arm, “But,...” d ko na siya pinatapos sa kung anong walang kwenta niyang sasabihin.

“I already told you, I am too intelligent and wise to be fooled and big enough to fit in your pocket”,sabay talikod sa kanya, his jaw dropped...

What an epic face i should have brought my camera with me, at kinunan xa ng picture pwedeng pang headline yun sa school paper with the caption: THE DOUCHEBAG IN TOWN.

 I know maraming nakakita at nakarinig sa sinabi at ginawa ko at wala akong pakialam kung napahiya siya.

I think, I wasn't able to bring my heart and a dose of mercy with me today instead i brought tons of insensitivity and viciousness. 

Serves him right, ‘coz no one messes up with THE ERIS HEART DEL CASTILLO.

I may have a HEART but i don't use it often.
