I let out a huge sigh as I enter my office. My day is already ruined, nakakainis. Kung sinuswerte ka nga naman. Bakit kasi naglipana sa mundo ang mga lalaking katulad niya, dapat binabaon sila sa ilalim ng lupa. On the other hand, life would be dull without jerks, isn't it? Kaya pwede ng pagtiyagaan, they can spice up our boring life.

"oh, bakit ka nakatayo lang dyan at nakatulala, don't tell me you were mesmerized by my beauty?"

"As the saying goes,birds with same feather flock together." sabay tayo mula sa kinauupuan nya, sarap batukan ng isang 'to daig pa ang typhoon Yolanda sa lakas ng hanging dala.

"First things first, why are you here?" I ask her while walking towards my table.

"And, mind you Ms. Jessica Martinez i'm not a bird, never have been and never will be. So, don't keep your hopes too high" mataray kong sabi, anyway sanay na naman siya.

"Ayan na namang katarayan mo, alam mo bestie di nyan ako tatablan," she said with a smile on her face. ugh.!!!., this girl, she's really annoying yet i care for her even if sometimes i'm rude to her. Siya lang naman nag-iisang kaibigan ko.

Did i mention that she's the only one who knows me well at siya lang ang nagtitiyaga sa akin at pinagtitiyagaan ko din. We complement each other naman eh.

"What are you doing here?"

" wala naman, namimiss ko lang kasi ang walang puso kong kaibigan hehehe" she said sarcastically.

I just let her talk her heart out, as if kaya ko pigilan ang bunganga niya sa pagdadaldal

I only need to look into some articles today, it's just a piece of cake.Kaya sisimulan ko na.

"Hoy, babae, nakikinig ka ba sa sinasabi ko? Kanina pa ako nagsasalita ah", halatang naiinis na siya.Misan lang siya mainis at magalit, pero sobra naman.

"What was it again?"i look at her and i saw a Are you Kidding me look.

" Ewan ko sau, Eris" sabay salampak niya sa sofa 

"Ano nga yun,i'm quite busy here,wat is it"i look at her and i know she's weighing if she would accept my alibi.

"Ang sabi ko,we do have a new university president, my business trip kasi ung president natin kaya may inassign siya na kapalit for the meantime." 

"ah,ok" i'm not interested with the topic anyway may naka-assign na doon na staff ko to cover on that story.

"Yun lang, ah ok? Are you not interested kung sino siya, I heard he's just a liitle bit older than us and a sought after cold-hearted, heartless bachelor nga lang daw" ang daming alam ng babaeng 'to daig pa niya ang gossip girl.

"wait, have you change your course? the last i'm i checked you're  taking a business Administration course with what you're saying daig mo pa mga mass com."

"Ai nku, kaw kasi walang social life kaya di mo alam nangyayari sa paligid mo, naturingan kang editor-in-chief ng school organ eh, don't tell me you're not aware of it?" kahit kelan talaga di papatalo ang isang 'to

" Of course, I am," i give her a reassuring look

"So? bakit parang di ka interesado?"lumipat siya ng upuan malapit sa mesa ko at nangalumbaba.

"yah, right i am not, so what kung may new president? As what you've said temporary lang naman yun diba so why make a big fuss about him?"

"alam mo bestie, kung may contest ng mga  taong walang pakialam, iboboto kita for sure mananalo ka" nakakaasar ang babaeng 'to...patience...patience...patience.

"at kung may contest ng mga taong pakialamera, i will enlist you for sure you'll win too" i saw her smirk.

"Sinasabi mo lang yan kasi di mo pa xa nakita, pag nakita mo siya, baka matunaw na yang bato mong puso" with what she said, i look at her intently.

I look at her and utter words with serious tone,"You know that it will never happen" i gather all the papers and put it back in the folder.

"You'll never know, wag magsalita ng tapos bestie, baka kelangan mo ng cold-hearted guy like him,para bumalik kana sa dati, ang tagal mo ng abnormal eh" sabay tapik sa balikat ko.

"that won't happen" at nagkibit balikat lang siya and i know she clearly understood what i'm trying to imply.

Ganito lang talaga kami magmahalang magkaibigan.Nag-aasaran, nagtatarayan at the end of the day we are there for each other. 

Matagal niya na akong pinipilit magka boyfriend ulit pero ayoko. Mula noon ayoko na and I don't need to  add up another problem to the  tons of problems i have.

I have build walls as strong as the great wall of China and nobody can break it.

No, I won't let anybody shatter what i have been guarding for a very long time.
