That Night
"So, do you know why we've called you here?" Seungcheol asked. "Because you want to scold me?" I asked. Vernon chuckled.
"No. He wants to request that you join us." Vernon said. My jaw dropped. "Uh... Hell no!" I refused. Seungcheol sighed.
"We can help you find out why Jisung killed your parents." He offered. "No. I know it was an accident." I refused again.
"We'll offer you protection." Seungcheol tried again. "I can just go to my brother or NCT." I said.
"How about... Friends?" Seungcheol said. "Um ouch. I can make them on my own." I replied, offended.
"If you don't join, we'll make you pay us rent." Jun said. "Yep yep! We'll also break off all contact!" Chan added.
I sighed. "Fine. What role can I even take?" I asked. "Trainee." Woozi replied.
"Uh... No. Imagine being called trainee. I wanna be one of the special roles!" I protested. "How about seeker?" Minghao suggested.
"Seeker means you spot tiny devices and eliminate them. You also have to be skilled in fighting as some people have devices on them." DK explained.
"I like that!" I clapped my hands in joy. "You most likely won't have to kill people. Unless there are special circumstances." Seungkwan said.
"Let's call it a day." Seungcheol clapped his hands as if trying to get everything to go to bed. "Boo. That's boring! Let's play some games to welcome our new member!" Hoshi suggested.
"No. We'll do it tomorrow alright?" Jeonghan said. "You liar. I have missions for the whole day." Joshua grumbled.
Chan nodded. "The day after tomorrow?" Jeonghan asked. "Training with Y/N." Wonwoo said.
"Okay. The day after tomorrow's tomorrow?" "No-"
"The day after tomorrow's tomorrow's tomorrow?"
"That's confusing." Jun said. "We've settled it. Now go to sleep!" Jeonghan announced.
"Old man." Hoshi muttered under his breath and I giggled. "Yes Y/N? What's so funny?" Jeonghan asked.
"Oh nothing." I laughed and ran to my room.
