William (Wallace) Pierce

Richard (Phoenix) McMillan
Toby (Ratchet) Rhodes...
It was a chilly night, but nobody cared for that in labs. Everybody only started to ask such ridiculous questions as 'What time is it?' or 'Where are we?' only after they left labs. Let's just say, it was a bizarre place.
The corridors of labs were filled with naught but death. Bodies of pmc's and raiders were scattered all over the place, though nobody seemed to mind it. In any other place such as customs, factory or even reserve, a body would be stripped clean of everything in a matter of seconds. However, the labs didn't allow for such audacious feats. A dead body here wasn't an all eat buffet, no, it was most probably a trap. Just a small plate of cheese made to lure rats into a deadly encounter with their death.
Though now nobody manned those traps. The bodies were left out in the open only for carrions to eat. Mainly due to the fact that at that moment there were only 8 people in the entire facility.
...
Edward: "You think they'll come out of there eventually? What's taking them so long?"
Two USEC operators observed as the door to the armory was still open, strange noises coming from inside. They themselves were lurking in the shadows about 12 feet away from the brightly lit door, hidden in plain sight due to their dark uniforms.
They both were tall, one of them was 5'11, while the other - 6'1. Although both men were wearing matching black military outfits, consisting of Signum tactical vests, dark combat shirts and combat pants which were just as dark, they still looked drastically different.
The guy, anxiously looking at the door was called Edward, or 'Nail' according to his dogtag. He was the taller one. His face was cleanly shaved and his neck was decorated with a scarf.
In addition to being clothed in a black outfit, his skin was dark as coal, concealing him in the shadow. He was holding a Mk-18 .338 LM marksman rifle. Although the weapon was nearly unwieldy on its own, Edward was strong enough not only to control the weapon keeping the sway to the minimum, but also to be able to wield it almost as effectively as an assault rifle in the CQB environment that are labs. The gun was also specifically kitted in order to fit in perfectly with the close quarter battles of this place. On his back hung an MP7 submachine gun, which Edward took off a raider and now it twitched slightly with every breath he took. It almost seemed as if the pmc was scared, but that wasn't the deal. The USEC's had been in this raid for 13 hours already and everybody was starting to feel tired.
The other pmc's name was William, or 'Wallace' according to his dogtag. He was slightly shorter than Edward and now was sitting behind a crate overlooking the entrance to labs in case someone wanted to sneak by. He was wearing a MOMEX balaclava and a USEC formal baseball cap, comtacs, as well as a pair of glasses. The long sleeves of his combat shirt have been rolled up ever so slightly to partially reveal tattoos on both of his arms.
It was a regular raid in labs for them. Second one this month at least. They'd had plans to lay low for a little while, but a certain 'Tadeusz Pilsudski' contacted them the other day, saying that he'd given a group of BEAR pmc's a contract to loot the armory and grab 'something special'. Now, one might think this wouldn't be an easy job even for battle-hardened pmc's, but the problem is how the Russians agreed to the contract. They hadn't given it a second thought. That could only mean one thing: they had the red keycard. Now, who in their right mind would keep it and not sell it the second they find it was unknown to the two operators currently watching the BEAR's looting the room, however they did know one thing. That keycard is worth almost 500 thousand dollars and boy did they want this money.
