Cool air brushed through Boros' now drained and withering body. Due to her actions of wanting to claim victory, she had drawn all the life energy within her into one final attempt to subdue and defeat the man who has just bested her in combat. And now here she was, body all wrinkled up and only her torso remained, her eye now gone after that one strike, and her hair had gone to pure white as if she had aged a hundred years in a matter of minutes. Nothing more she was, other than a withered husk of her former self.
"Did I... lose..?" She started to ask the man ahead of her in a hoarse and tired tone.
"You're still conscious huh? You really are strong." He simply replied to her as he then heard some more words from her.
"The battle... was long and... hard-fought... the prophecy... held true..." She said as she took deep breaths between words.
"Yeah... it was." Saitama said back as he gazed towards the sky. A moment of silence reigned before Boros simply chuckled to herself. Metal Knight had already done enough and concluded her research here as she stopped the stream.
"You... lie..." The Hero kept his gaze away from her, his eyes were blank and emotionless, but deep down, he held sadness.
"You still... had strength to... spare... I... never stood a chance... that wasn't... even a battle to begin with... hehehe... so much for prophecies Is suppose..." Saitama still wouldn't face her as he began to slowly walk away.
"You... were too strong for me... however... I know that you have experienced the same treatment I went through...." She continued as he halted in place. "You suffered through life... such as I... I can feel it... your pain... your loss... your sadness... the feeling of being betrayed by your own kind such as I..." A brief moment of silence before she then questioned her.
"How... how is it... that you became so strong... despite everything they had probably done to you.... yet... you guard them... protect them... care for them... why... is it...?" He turned to her before answering her.

"My mom was taken over by a monster when I turned 3, My dad protected me and showed me care while she berated me even though before she loved me so much too." He said before continuing. "Its when I turned five when she snapped out of it for a few days before trying to kill me." He walked over to her.
(Again, massive edit after this. Gonna run through and change Saitama's background again later. Will delete this note after I did it.)
"You wanna know how I got strong?" He crouched down near her. "I wasn't for most of my life. In fact, I was borderlining taking my own life from desperation. I was an orphan, no one cared for me or just waved me off, school life was harsh since they wouldn't let me off the hook and berated me, hell not even the teachers cared." Boros was silent, but the faintest of nods indicated that she was listening.
"Land owner of my apartment kicked me out just because she never liked my gender and had no patience for the likes of me, so I was homeless. Constantly did I sliced myself wanting to just die." Boros wasn't liking what she was hearing though she could feel his words were honest and sincere. Never did she suffered through what he went through of course, she had a home, she had food, while he had nothing, but she sympathized with him. She knows how it feels and how it probably feels to experience such misery. Felt parental love at a young age only to lose it, gain it back for a short time, and then lose double at the same moment.
