Settling into routine in Dallas didn't turn out to be as difficult for Nicky as she might have expected, after she unpacked all of her boxes with help from her cousin she decorated her store and then the doors of Nicole's Flower Shop were opened.
People came to show their support, which she's grateful for because she didn't have time or energy to have a grand opening in order to attract customers.
People came out of their own interest and stayed because of the beautiful flowers that Nicky provided them with.
The sign of Nicky's store said Nicole's Flower Shop in beautiful green cursive on the windows but only supernaturals were able to see that it actually said Nicole's Flower and Magic Shop.
Members of Dallas' small witch community came to show their own support and thanked her for opening her shop in Dallas as they claimed that they had to drive to Houston just to get the plants and herbs that they might need.
As Nicole had expected her family called to check up on her and whether or not business was doing good.
She had begged Mandy not to tell them about what happened on her first night in Dallas or they would come running and she doesn't want them to. She wants independence away from anything associating her with her family name.
She was in her greenhouse, watering her plants when she hears a loud whoosh coming from outside the greenhouse. She sets her watering can onto the ground as she makes her way out of the greenhouse.
"I'm not really a fan of being spied on!" she shouts for whoever was out there as she rounds a corner only to find the sheriff standing there, looking as casual as ever in a loose white dress shirt and loose white pants. "Sheriff, what a surprise to see you here" she comments honestly, genuinely surprised to see him.
The last time she saw him was a week ago.
"Ms. Sinclair" he responds with a polite inclination of the head. "Forgive me for disturbing your evening" he adds as he breathes in the sight of her.
She was dressed in a long sleeved brown sweater paired with grey pants and black slippers.
All in all the picture of a woman who is perfectly comfortable and at ease in her environment.
"Can I help you with something?" she asks him.
"It's Ms. Boatwright" Godric explains, "it seems that she's not eager to drink human blood" he starts, sounding like the thought worries him. "And she grows weaker by the night" he adds as Nicky nods in understanding at this. Drinking animal blood and Tru Bloods can only get a vampire so far.
"So you wish for me to...convince her?"
"If you could" he responds. He's embarrassed to be asking for her help like this but Olivia downright refused to drink human blood and no amount of trying to convince her to give it a shot seemed to be doing anything.
For a grown woman she was acting rather childish but Godric supposes that it's something to be expected in all newborns. Eric had also been stubborn and his grand-progeny Pamela was also stubborn to a fault despite being hundreds of years old.
"She wishes to see you but we couldn't allow her as we feared that she might attack you due to her inability to think properly" he adds.
Nicky very much doubted that Olivia would attack her, especially given that she hadn't on the night that they first met.
"I'd be happy to help her wherever I could but I doubt that I'll make much of a difference considering she's more likely to listen to people who can actually understand what she's going through as opposed to me, a witch" she adds.
