During Elementary school we became really close friends and slowly, but surely I developed a crush on him. He never knew, I bet now you're asking why did you keep it a secret from him? Honestly, I don't know. In the Fall of 5th grade he gave me the worst news, but the greatest news to himself. He got signed to Interscope Records along with these other boys and they were forming a group called "Mindless Behavior." In result, he had to move to California, it truly broke my heart. After he moved we did keep up the communication. We skyped, texted, talked on the phone, and sent letters. It felt like he was still here for the first couple of months, but he wasn't. As his schedules got tighter,
our communication got weaker
and weaker
and weaker.
Soon enough we didn't speak at all. My heart felt empty. I needed him here with me. I lost him, but I need to get over him.
My friend, Shantell and my 7-year-old brother, Justin jumped on my bed yelling "Today's the day!!" I groaned. Why were they jumping on my bed, yelling "Today's the day!" annoyingly? because they forced me to take them to a Mindless Behavior concert. Shantell thinks Jacob would remember me and my brother really loves them. I really doubt that Jacob would remember me, I mean it's been what... 7 years? I slowly sat up in my bed and walked to the shower. They sat in the living room waiting for me.
I turned on the hot water and stepped in. After about 20 minutes I walked into my room and got dressed. I walked to the living room "C'mon minions! Let's go" I yelled. "evil monsters.." I mumbled. "What was that?" Shantell asked moving her ear closer to my mouth. I screamed in her ear. "OWWW!' she exclaimed. "Bitch.." she mumbled. "What was that?" I asked mocking her then laughing hysterically. Shantell punched my arm which only made me laugh harder. She pouted as we walked to my car and I drove to the concert.
