Alternate ending ~

I woke up from the feeling of motion in the bed.

I opened my eyes to see Jacob running to the bathroom, then hearing him throw up, gross.

"Are you okay?" I asked, concerned.

"No.." He muttered, spitting into the toilet one more time.

I covered my nose and reached into the cabinet to get some air freshener.

He got up and started to brush his teeth.

After 10 seconds he started to grim me because I was still spraying air freshener.

"What?" I asked sarcastically.

He spit into the sink and rinsed out his mouth, then gave me a straight face.

"Fine." I put the spray back into the cabinet and opened the window in the bathroom.

He started scratching his bushy Afro while looking in the mirror.

"What happened last night?" he inquired, looking at me through the glass.

I decided not to bring up what he told me.

"Oh um, when I came back from the party you weren't here so I stayed in your room because I was worried, because your my best friend and I'm guessing you were drunk. I stayed in your room with you to make sure you were okay." I said, nervously waiting for his answer.

"You sure?" he smirked as if he knew something different.

"Um, yeah?" I answered shakily.

Did he remember what happened?

"Mhm." he hummed as if he didn't believe me.

We stood there awkwardly before he spoke up.

"Hey, aren't you supposed to be at school or something?" he said with confusion dripping from his words.

I checked my phone and it was 7:35.

"Shit.." I mumbled.

"Can you take Justin to school for me?" I begged, intertwining my fingers together.

He looked down at himself, then back up at me.

He was still wearing his clothes from last night.

A grey,white, and green button down, black jeans and multiple rings.

"Um, sure" he shrugged his shoulders, then scratched his back.

I hugged him, then ran out of the bathroom, to my room.

I took a quick shower then got dressed. I made sure to wear a scarf to cover up this hickey, even though it's the middle of Fall and it's pretty warm.

After I finished, I quickly ran out of my room, noticing that nobody was here.

I ran out of the door to my car, driving out onto the street.

I got out of my car, slamming the door closed and walking up to the school.

I knew I had made it because there were still kids standing outside.

I kept walking until I heard my name being called.

"Krissy!" the unknown person yelled.

I turned around to see Daniel running up to me, I grinned hard.

He kissed me and picked me up starting to spin me around.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and giggled in the kiss

He put me down, pulling away.

I starting blushing extremely hard.

"I missed you" he whispered softly.

I smiled genuinely.

"I missed you too.." I said, poking my bottom lip out.

Shantell and my other friend Demetria came over, pushing us apart, stealing the moment right away from us.

"Excuse us, we gotta steal her for a minute." Demetria grinned innocently pulling me away.

I mouthed 'Help me!' to Daniel and he just chuckled and started waving, walking off to his friends.

"So what happened last night?" Demetria interrogated.

"Yeah, did you get some?" Shantell asked, placing a smirk on her face and wiggling her eyebrows.

"Maybe.." I bushed looking away.

They started screeching and jumping up and down.

I realized a few people around us were looking at us weirdly.

"Guys! Stop, damn. Ya'll acting like ya'll just won the lottery!" I retorted.

They started giggling, "Sorry.."

"Hey, why are you wearing a scarf?" Demetria asked, trying to pull it off.

I slapped her hand away.

"I'm cold?" I said, nervously.

"Yeah, but--" Shantell started, until the bell rang, cutting her off.

"Gotta go!" I said running away to my first class.

"See you later?" They called after me.

3:30 pm.

"You coming to my house later?" Daniel asked.

"If you're picking me up?" I smiled.

"Of course, see you later babe" He pecked me on my lips and walked off to his car.

I walked over to my car making my way home.

3:50 pm.

I walked into the house, over to Jacob's door, opening it.

His back was turned to the door and his shoulders were moving up and down as if he was crying hard.

"Jacob? Are you okay?"

"No!" He yelled.

I jumped a little.

"What's wrong?" I asked softly, sitting next to him and looking in his eyes.

He looked down, breaking the stare, then took a deep breath and looked back up.

"Look Krystin, I'm sorry okay. I can't stand seeing you with that player, Daniel. I've loved you since the first time I laid my eyes on you. I know that sounds a little corny and cliche' since we met when we were five, but it's true. I always had a crush on you, I was just too much of a wuss to tell you. I kept trying to myself that I didn't like you, I was lying to myself. When I left for California it hurt me just as much as it hurt you. The little amount of weeks or days I get to spend with you, seeing you smile while on break is definitely worth the 7 hour plane ride. I love you Krystin Jonee' Johnson, there I said it."

"Oh shit.." I whispered and looked at him with wide eyes.

He grabbed my hand and leaned in to kiss me.

"Ja-Jacob, stop" 

He kept going.

"Jacob!"

"What!" 

"I can't Jacob, I'm with Daniel, if I did this with you I would be cheating on him"

Lord knows how much I really did want to kiss him.

He scrunched up his face and right before he got to say anything, the door bell rang.

Jacob stomped out of the room and opened the front door.

 It was none other than Daniel in the flesh.
