Michael stared down at Snow. He opened his mouth to say something but no words came out. What was somebody supposed to say back to something like that. He looked down at Snow, her hands in her lap and her head hung low.

"I'll be fine Michael just go back out there with your friends." She said, her voice soft and quiet.

"What?" He looked at her. He didnt get would she want him to go out and get drunk with his friends after she told him what she just did.

"No." He stated and sat on the bed in front of her.
"Michael, you don't have to worry about me I'll just walk home." She stood up but Michael grabbed onto her wrist. She looked up at him, her sad expression made Michael's heart ache. He'd never have sympathy towards anybody. Not his friends, ecspecially not the girls he's slept with but it was different now, and he wasnt sure what to make of it but it didnt matter righ now. Snow did.
"Stop being stubborn and talk to me. nodded.

"It was almost a year ago." She still hadn't looked up from her fiddling hands laying in her lap.

*flashback*
(she's explaining it to Michael but heres the flashback to help you all see better too.)

"Okay class, turn to page 87." The teacher announced as the intercom came on.

"ATTENTION WE ARE IN LOCKDOWN, LOCK YOUR DOORS AND REMAIN QUIET AN-" gunshot. The room fell dead silent. Snow looked over to her bestfriend, Emily with wide eyes.
"Okay everyone move the desks and sit againt this wall away from the door.

Everybody got up without a word and did as told, Emily and Snow sat against a tall cabinet.
Emily grabbed onto Snows hand and they held eachother.

They all sat there for what seemed like hours when it was only bout 20 minutes. Just as Snow looked up at the door she heard banging noises from inside the hall. Emilys grip tightened on Snows hand.
gunshots rang and screaming was heard. It stopped for a few seconds and the banging got louder.
They all looked towards the door terrified. The banging was on their door. The doorknob shook furiously. Snow looked around at anything to hide better.

"Emily!" She whispered and pointe at the cabinet. They slid inside and sat down, hugging eachother hard and staying as quiet as possible.
The door flung open. They wathed through the tiny slits in the cabinet door as the man in a black sweatsuit kicked the teacher and the other man shot her. Emily drew in a sharp breath and Snow covered her mouth to keep from crying outloud. Gunshots and screams of their classmates sounded. They held eachother and squeezed their eyes shut.

"Snow, if anything happens. You run. As hard and fast as you can. Tell my mom I love her and Im sorry please." She cried.

"Emily nothing going to happen were gonna make it." Snow cried.

"Snow just promise me. Your stronger than I am." Snow shook her head as a shaddow appeared outisde the door and the cabinet door flung open.

Snow gripped onto Emily as the man pulled on her.

"NO EMILY!"

"PROMISE ME SNOW PLEASE!" Snow cried.

"I promise Emily I promise." Snow tried pulling on Emily but it was too late. The man threw her to the ground and kicked her head.
Snow stood up to go try and help but stopped before she could even step out of the cabinet.

scream. gunshot. silence.

Snow stood with her mouth open. Emily layed in front of her. Dead, blood spilling onto the floor beside her head. The guy looked towards the cabinet.
