Chapter 1

Kenma POV:
"Dad, mom I'm leaving!" I yell as I walk out the door.
"Have a great first day honey!" I hear mom yell back. Today was my first day of my senior year of high school. So yes I'm very excited I only have one more year at this hellish place.

Just some info. My school is mostly werewolf's and humans, not very many vampires. I'm a werewolf and I belong to the yellow moon pack. I'm just an ordinary beta so I'm not expecting to find my mate anytime soon since I don't really want one. Mates are just a possessive pain in The ass if you ask me.

I get to the bus stop just in time and hope on. I grab a seat in the back and put my ear phones in. I don't really like being social and since we don't have another car I have to take the bus.

About 30 minutes later we arrive at school and I walk to the office to grab my schedule.
"Aw man I got pre-cal first" I groan. I walk to my class and take the seat towards the back. I noticed there's one vamp, 5 werewolf's, and 5 humans in my class. It's rare to have a vamp in this school but I don't pay him much mind. The bell rings and class starts.

Time skip-1 hour later.

"And that's about it for today" mr. bullock announces. He leaves and we still have about 5 minutes till the bell sounds. "Oi what's up with you freak?" A werewolf throws a crumpled up piece of paper at the vamp. He tries to ignore it. "Hey! What your name freak!?" He pushes farther. "Lev" the vamp responds. The werewolf known as Richard laughs in a very obnoxious manner. "Well LEV I'll have you know we don't take kindly to your kind because of the war" Richard says. "Didn't that happens over 1000 years ago?" Lev asks. That idiot. Just don't respond and Richard will ignore you.

Before everyone knew it Richard was all the way across the room grabbing on to the collar of levs shirt. "Listen here freak, that doesn't change the fact that it still happened. Besides I hear your kind has a hard time finding some one to love you. Your pathetic!" He yells at his face. I can't take it anymore.
"That rich coming from a guy who's nickname is dick." I mutter a little too loud. "What the fuck did you just say?!"he starts coming towards me but luckily the bell starts ringing and mr. bullock comes back in. I quickly grab my stuff and rush out of the class.

"Riiiing"
Finally! The last class is over! I go to my locker grab my stuff and head for the bus. Suddenly I'm slammed into a wall and shoved behind the school.

"My nickname is not dick" I hear him whisper in my ear. And then suddenly he's gone. "Crazy fuck" I mutter. I stand there for a few seconds. And then remember that I had a bus to catch!
I catch it just in time.

I soon get home and walk into my house. "Kenma is that you?" I hear my dad ask. "Yeah" I respond. I walk to the kitchen and grab a snack. "Me and your mother are going to a pack meeting tonight so you'll be home alone" I informs me. I nod. In truth I didn't have the best relationship with my dad but I tried.
"Kenma you know your going to have to start looking for your mate soon right?" He tells me. "But dad I really don't want a mate." I groan. He rolls his eyes. "So why is there a pack meeting tonight?" I ask. He looks as if he can't tell me. "C-mon you can tell me! I won't tell!" I whine. He gives up and tells me. "There's a new pack coming to town. The blood moon pack. They're vicious and ruthless. They're alpha especially." He sounds concerned. I stay silent.
My mom comes out 5 minutes later. "You ready to go sweetie?" She asks my dad. He nods and they both head out.
