The Final Piece.

I sat on a bench, it was pretty... Eventful dealing with well, my new girlfriend? It's sorta awkward since we don't have as much in common as I thought. Though it's pretty stupid when I realized that she didn't have a heart piece. I've bodied so many duelist that I only need the one. I need someone with some actual skill. Maybe I'll find someone strong enough to challenge me.

???: "Hey! You! You part of the tournament?"

I turn around and see another kid and I smirk

Y/N: "Is the sky blue?"

???: "Alright! I only need one heart piece left. And I'm gonna get it from you!"

Y/N: "Seems like you got the same idea in mind with me."

Atem: "Odd... This kid seems... Familiar."

Y/N: "Oh great... Hope he's not as rough as the Alexander guy... Since it would really be inconvenient if he's an actually good duelist."

???: "Quit talking to your ghost and get your game on!"

Y/N: "Hold on- wait... You can see Atem? Oh great I have a feeling you're more than meets the eye. Some soul stealer or something."

???: "What? No I'm Judai Yuki Jr. . My uh grandfather fought yours."

Y/N: "Wait... Oh yeah I heard about that. Okay! Great you're getting stomped and I'm going to finale.

Judai: "Whatever you say! Get your game on!"

Y/N:: "Okay then!" We get our duel gazers locked and our duel disks loaded. I noticed he was using an old one "And you say you're not gonna get stomped?"

Atem: "If he's Judai's grandkid then he'll be a tough cookie. Don't forget who you're battling."

Y/N: "You got it Atem." I rub my hands.

AI: Augmented Reality link established.

Judai & Y/N: "Duel!"

Y/N: "I guess I'll go first..." I look at the 5 cards in my hand, Soul Servant, Dark Magical Circle, demise of the land, magician's rod, and apprentice illusion magician "First I'll activate Soul Servant! Putting secrets of Dark Magic on top of my deck! Then I'll play Dark Magical Circle to look at the top three cards of my deck and add one to my hand! I add secrets of Dark Magic! Now I'll discard magician's rod to summon out, Apprentice illusion magician" I lay down my monster and she comes out in a pose similar to the dark magician girl "Now when she's special summoned I add a dark magician to my hand from my deck! Now I'll play secrets of Dark Magic to fuse my apprentice and dark magician!" Too golden chalices appear on the field and my two monsters swirl into a dark magical circle "I fusion summon! The dark magicians!" I smirk at my fusion monster and they look ahead "I set a card face down and end my turn."

Judai Jr.: "I draw!" He smiled "Alright! I'll play cosmic cyclone! Paying 2000 LP to destroy your dark magical circle! Don't want any pesky banishing effects after all"

Judai Jr. Lp: 4000 - 2000 = 2000

I grunt as the cyclone banished my card.

Judai Jr.: "I play fusion destiny! Fusing a destiny hero celestial and destiny hero drawhand! To fusion summon destiny hero dystopia!" I watched as two heros go to the grave and one appears on his field. "When he's fusion summon I use a destiny hero in my grave and inflict damage equal to its attack points! So take those 1600 attack points like a man!" His monster throws a dark ball of fire at me and I flinch

Y/N's LP: 4000 - 1600 = 2400

Y/N: "Heh... I activate demise of the land!" My spell flips face up "Since you special summoned a monster I now get to play a field spell card from my deck! I activate secret village of the spellcasters! As long as I control a spellcaster and you don't. Only I can play spells."

Judai Jr.: "Gr... I end my turn with a face down!"

Atem: "When I battled Judai he used elemental heros... Yet this kid uses a different archetype. How weird."

Y/N: "Yeah... I draw!" I drew into Allure of darkness and flinch. "I end my turn"

Judai: "Thanks! I draw" he groans "My monster is destroyed this turn... But I activate back to the front! My trap brings my monster back from the grave in defense mode! And destiny hero drawhand comes back since it's still the standby phase! When he comes back we both draw one card since his effect brought him back. Main phase! I play elemental hero liquid soldier! When he's normal summoned I can bring back a level 4 or lower hero monster! So come back elemental hero celestial! I turn my destiny hero dystopia into attack position and attack your monster! Destroying them both! And since you now don't control a spellcaster I quick play mask change! I change my liquid soldier to masked hero acid! So now I destroy your field spell with his effect!" I gasp as my card is destroyed

Y/N: "My fusion monster has an effect! If it is destroyed I can revive a dark magician or dark magician girl from my graveyard. I bring my dark magician back in defense mode!"

Judai Jr. : I don't care! Masked hero acid attack his dark magician!" His monster shoots my monster and I put it back in the grave. "Now destiny hero celestial attack directly!" I fall back as I took the damage "Alright! I end my turn"

Y/N's LP: 2400 - 1600 = 800

Y/N: "Damn... I draw!" Another rod "I summon Chocolate magician girl!" My little cute spellcaster shows itself. "I now banish the soul servant from my graveyard, to draw equal to the dark magician and dark magician girls in my graveyard! So one! I play a facedown and then activate allure of darkness! I banish magician's rod from my hand due to this effect!" I drew into the eye of timaeus and magicialized fusion.

Judai: "Draw as much as you want! You can't win at this rate!"

I smirk

Atem: "Do what you must."

Y/N: "I've assembled all the cards to win Now Judai! You should've kept that Cosmic Cyclone since now I play... Magicialized fusion!"

Judai Jr.: "what?!"

Y/N: "With this card... I banish chocolate Magician girl from my field, dark magician, the dark magicians, apprentice illusion magician, and finally... Magician's rod from my graveyard! This Magician is a spellcaster that has mastered all arts of magic! With the ability to turn the duel! I fusion summon! Quintet Magician!"

Judai: "What!?"

Y/N: "I now use his effect! He destroys everything else on the field! Quintuple erasure!" My monster summons dark magical circles under Judai's monsters and they're sent to the graveyard. "Now Quintet Magician attack him directly! Quintuple magic attack!" My monster destroyed his life points, knocking him down. As the field turns off back to real life I walk over and hold a hand out. "if I didn't get all those draw cards I would've lost! I hope to duel you again some time."

Judai Jr.: "Same..."

He shook my hand and I noticed how nice his nails looked, sorta weird, but I'm not one to judge. I took my final hear piece and smiled then bowed. Going to where the heart medallion center was so I could sign into the finals.

Sorry for a short chapter. I knew y'all wanted one so I made one real quick. I promise another longer chapter soon. I just couldn't make this one last no matter how many times I dueled the same deck over and over. Have a good day guys. See you next time
