Training Days Part 2

Y/N: "Cuz you're more than just a senile duelist aren't ya? You see Atem too and I know it."

Roku: "So it's time eh? Okay let's sit down."

I sat across from him as I glared him down. This man has some odd connection to Yugi.

Y/N: "Tell me something old geezer... What is your connection to Yugi Moto and this puzzle?"

He started laughing, like I asked a stupid question

Roku: "Oh.... Kiddo, I AM Yugi. Just not the one you know."

Y/N: "Tell me before I send you to the shadow realm."

Roku: "I come from a place similar to this, without XYZ. We only had fusions! I was sent here one day due to a Kaiba Corp duel. I've been here for quite some time and decided to take the name as Roku. Your grandmother knew my secret almost immediately."

Y/N: "If she's known you for some time... That means I could've lived in a place I belonged!" I stood up "I've been Living with Yuma while you've been here on a mountain!? I can't believe you! Even if you're telling the truth!"

Roku: "I thought it would've been weird you punk! I didn't know I had family here! That's different know, once I saw the puzzle it must be different here than anywhere else... Since in my world that was lost to the world."

Y/N: "Odd... I didn't hear that story. Here Kaiba started a big tournament, since he didn't see well, you. As the true king of games. So what ended up happening was that some weird cult of cube people attacked... And Atem showed up, and yeah, the first duel Gazers, the prototype for my duel disk, which is just schematics from my grandpa's old one from that tournament. Which helped my process."

Roku: "Ah you remind me of Kaiba's kid, you know he was a tech genius too. Anyways... If you want you could stay here with me, we could be family! Maybe I can tell you more than Atem could about well... Me!"

I look around the room and look at the sliced statue.

Y/N: "That'd be great... But I don't know about it yet... What happened to this? I can't believe someone could be so disrespectful..."

Roku: "My former pupil..."

I nod and then heard some noises outside.

Y/N: "Oh boy... Sounds like Yuma, let's go Gramps."

Roku and I walked outside slowly and I put my cards in my deck. But then decide to stop for a moment to prep my deck for my battle I'm certain was about to unfold.

Roku: "Yuma is a good spirit... A true diamond unlike him."

Roku seemed to be in deep thought as we step outside to see Yuma arguing with some guy. So I step Infront of Yuma.

Yuma: "Uh- hey! Y/N I got this! Move out of my way!"

Y/N: "This dark energy... I'll deal with him Yuma don't worry."

Man: So these are your new pupils "master"? This one giving me the dirty look sort of looks like you. Uncanny it you ask me. Anyways I'm back. Didn't think you'd see me again did you?"

Roku: "I did not, after all, I said you were never to come back here."

Man: "You told me a lot of things old man, but words are cheap" he holds out his duel disk and activates it but before Roku could do anything I activate my duel disk

Roku: "Y/N! No this is my battle."

I look back at Roku, my new grandfather I guess and flash a smile.

Y/N: "Let the new generation of Muto show you what we can do okay Gramps?" I look forward and the millennium puzzle begins to glow "It's time to duel!"
