People stared at me in the halls. A lot.
Finn's death was the subject of matter that week of school. Several people had came up to me wth condolences, like I was a link to him.
They would murmur as I walked by and I heard the occasional "I feel so bad for her" or "Wasn't she like Finn's best friend or something?"
I had managed to get through most of it by just keeping my head down and examining the floor tile pattern with intent.
It was going fine until some girl had whispered loudly when I walked by, "I bet she's the reason why Finn and Angela broke up. He probably cheated on her with Fiona, that whore."
That day was the first time I'd ever given someone a black eye.
