Since he was a young child, Eren always had what his mother and adopted sister, Mikasa, would consider an 'unhealthy obsession' with a certain mammal. He had bought enough plushies to single-handedly keep his local store in business. Although he had his..hobbies with collecting merchandise, he didn't decorate his room with tacky, distasteful shit. No, only the best was up to his standards when it came to his favorite animal. He refused to have a dorky-ass room.
However, up until he was eleven that was a completely different story. Ceramics, plushies, comforters, throw blankets, pajamas..you name it, he had it. Hell, he even fell asleep listening to their little snorts that passed as communication.
Now, even as a senior, he has not dropped what his mother had thought was a simple phase.
What is this animal, you ask? Well knowing Eren he is sure to mention it sometime soon.

"As you all are surely aware of, a few weeks ago the grade took a vote on where we are going for the trip at the end of the year. We finally have the total." Mr. Jankins, my homeroom teacher announced while pacing the front of the room. "About time you lazy asses got around to it." I thought. "This year the twelfth grade will be going to," "Please, please, please.." I crossed my fingers in some sort of attempt to get luck on my side. "..the zoo. It wa-," "WOOO! Suck on that bitches~" I exclaimed, flailing my arms in the air in my excitement and childishly stuck my tongue out at those I knew had voted on the Museum of Some Shit That No One Cares About. My celebrating was cut off by Mr. Jankins with a loud, obviously forced cough. I sat back down in my seat that I had unknowingly jumped up from. I then noticed that the whole class was looking at me. With an embarrassed blush I stared at my desk, tracing the scratches that were carved into it with my fingers. I let out a nervous cough and mumbled an apology. "As I was saying," Mr. Jankins started again, shooting an accusing glare at me from down his glasses that were perched on the tip of his nose,"It was very close. In fact it only won by two votes." Feeling someone's gaze on me, I looked up to see Mikasa and Armin casting me a side glance. Oh yeah, I kindda convinced them to sort of 'give me' their votes. Heh."Since we have some extra money on hand this year, we've decided that this will be an overnight trip." As he finished his sentence, the class seemed to burst into excited whispering. Clearing his throat to regain the students' attention he resumed what he was saying; "That being the case, you've all been assigned partners." The whole class groaned in unison. "Connie and Armin, Marco and Jean, Sasha and Mikasa.." he began listing off the pairs. I eventually stopped listening and blankly stared out the window beside me.
It was a nice day, being May, with barely a cloud in the sky. It was surely at least the slightest bit hot given how bright the Sun was shining. A flock of some sort of birds flew past the window. I'm not entirely sure what kind of birds they were, but they had multicolored bodies. Their left side was a shade of blue that the sunlight caught on nicely, creating a glare off of the small creatures' feathers. The opposite side of their body was a pure white. If only the snow here was that white and not the slushy, muddy weird shit that covered everything in the winter. Damn city and its shit winters. The two colors blended in the center, tiny speckles of the other color on the other side of the 'color-split'. They were built almost like doves though the pattern on their feathers made it clear they were unquestionably not.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my name called. Mr. Jankins looked at over at me, and I assumed he had reached the end of his list. "Um..," I started awkwardly, "who's my parter again?" "Me," a hauntingly familiar husky voice answered. I swiveled in my chair so that I could see who was behind me. My fast movements caused me to come face-to-face with my new parter, apparently.
Sharp onyx eyes met mine, his pale face barely an inch apart from mine. His breath burned the tip of my nose. I jumped back, a blushing mess. Oh shit. I was paired with him. Motherfucking Levi Rivaille.

Alrighty here's this fanfiction on my OTP. Now I know Levi's last name is not Rivaille but I'm avoiding spoilers for those who don't read the manga. That's actually how I came to find his name ;-;
Anyway, here's this. I haven't given up on Potatoes and it's not ending quite yet for you peeps that read that weird thing.
I have a good feeling about this fic though. Ideas are all up in my brain.
