I leaped over the fence as the siren went off and shouts in the distance came nearer. I had come so close to finding it. I ran harder as a red light scanned the ground behind me and the rest of the rocky desert. I pushed my head forward until I was going so fast the wind whooshing past me cut off the sound of my muscles screaming.
"Stop!" Shouted a man behind me. He was about to say something but before he did I picked up my wrist and his words turned into a scream in the distance.
I turned back around to face forwards but right when I did my heart practically stopped. In front of me was the scariest man you could imagine, if you could imagine anything that horrible.
Then his rock like face opened just below his rubble like nose to make a horrible voice like rocks colliding,"Down you go." He said with no emotion at all with what he was going to do. A flash of red hot light burst from somewhere on him but to me it seemed like it came from everywhere before my body crippled to the ground.
