I woke up to noises echoing off of the cave walls. I jumped up as I remembered today was battle day. I walked out of my bedchamber to see more than twenty people outside.
"Ordinary! These are more people that will help us in the battle." Sophie said cheerily as if they were all friends she'd known for a long time.
"Everyone! Get a black cape so none of us will stick out like a flamingo!" Newt said as he pointed to a table full of black cloth. I ran over with everyone else and picked up one just my height. As I put it on I noticed the inside was silver like the moon and as soft as a cloud.
"Everyone, hold hands!" A new guy said as everyone joined hands to make a ring.
"Go!" Shouted everyone but me as the world turned blue.
