Once upon a time there was a kingdom called Thornwood kingdom famous for its beautiful forests and a plethora of roses. Thornwood was usually a peaceful and very happy place, But you see there was a legend.  Every 200 years a ancient evil known as the Shadow King will arise and spread darkness all around the kingdom.  The other part of the legend is that when ever a shadow king is born so is a figure known as the hero a special person that is born only every 200 years with the blessing of all of the magic spirits.  there is another part of the legend one no one ever seems to talk about that says when the Shadow king appears we will take a A princess of the royal family born with a birth mark in the shape of a flower on her hand.  according to the legend is the hero his job to save the princess before the Shadow King King cast a love spell on the princess.

For 2000 years that's the way it was and evil king which show up kidnap a princess the hero would rise to the challenge save the princess and then the cycle will repeat 200 years after again.  Here in Thornwood everyone remembers the name of every single hero.  every hero gets their own painting and statue and title.  Also usually end up marrying the princess and becoming the next king. No one ever remembers a single thing about the princess no I remember their names or the fact that the heroes literally have no training in how to run a country often leading the princesses they marry who become the queen to do all the work. In the kingdom of Thornwood this is how things were for a whole 2000 years.  Throughout each generation each princess desired more and more for at least a little recognition. One day the princess with the flower birthmark was born her name was Lila.  All her life Lila grew up hearing the story about how much they celebrated the heroes about how much they despise to the shadow king and how much they forgot the princess.  Lila realize this was her unfortunate reality no the people of the world will always remember the hero and the villain the royal family them selves honour the princesses.

The only people who remembered and honoured the princesses for the royal family probably because the princesses are part of the royal family.  so though the world would always forget the princesses names and titles from when they were queen.  Their families and their time never forgot making sure after each princess becomes queen she gets her own special tapestry in the hall of leaders.  Often the princesses families are overprotective of them to say the least.  So every generation after the first the princesses families were always loving. Princess Lila was no exception to this rule her family loved her and a lot.  All of her siblings enjoyed spending time with her.  Her mother spoiled her with attention and gifts.  The father was overly protective but also allowed her to take any lessons she pleased.  The princess learned more than just how to run a country and her peas and cues.  She was also free to learn anything else she wanted to.  even though the princess knew her faith she was happy as long as her family would always stay by her side.

You're probably asking yourself how come this person writing the story knows all this.   Well you see because I am Lila.  I'm writing how are small freak accident changed my fate and changed my role. Before I get on with the story I should probably tell you what I look like.  My hair was long wavy and Sandy blonde.  I wore my hair in a pair of twin tails tied up with bows I also wore a tiara. It all started on a quiet summersday. The streets were buzzing with business and the birds were singing in the trees. Everything seems so peaceful and quiet until an ominous shadow loomed over the sky's. It was the wicked shadow king declaring to the citizens of my kingdom that he managed to capture me. You're probably wondering how the crowd reacted like being concerned for my health or begging him not to take me right.  If that's what you were thinking you would be completely wrong.  Instead of worrying about me everyone immediately began preparing the celebration in order to find a new hero.  Yeah I know the heroes important at all but, I kind of felt forgotten.  On the bright side the Bad guy didn't really treat me that bad I got three meals a day and a large comfortable room.  It was more boring and tedious than anything all I could think about was why that hero wouldn't hurry up already so I can just get home to my family.  I was literally stuck there for six months doing nothing but reading books. One day the hero finally showed up it took him long enough.
